Need help finding a game -thread

Can't for the life of me remember the name of this one game, and browsing through Steam store for hours did not help. Some pointers I remember reading about it:

- Singleplayer indie RPG. Multiple ways to build succesfull character. Diplomacy skills, combat, thievery, etc.
- Character classes might include praetor, merchant (?)
- Isometric
- Unforgiving combat (which can be mostly avoided if one so wishes?)
- Can join guilds. Possibly interguild politics?
- Published fairly recently, but been in development for a LONG time (10+ years?)
- I remember someone here complaining about how they couldn't get past some diplomacy checks despite building their character as pure partyface

Any suggestions what this might be?
