Hi, I'm new here so I thought I'd say a quick hello and introduce myself.

I'm an ageing (that's the English spelling btw) and greying (same again) game enthusiast. Most of my gaming/hobby time is spent on managing Warhammer projects, facebook groups and forums but I also still play quite a few pc and console wargames and rolepays (late at night while my good, long suffering, wife is all tucked up).

The PC games I'm currently spending a lot of time with are Company of Heroes, Oblivion (I promised myself I'd finish it before Skyrim!) and Battlefield 2 (which, I hink, is actually a better game than Battlefield 3 - when it comes to pure gameplay).

My favourite game of recent time must be Dragon Age which I played on the XBox a couple of years ago every day until I finished it. I really enjoyed that game and drank plenty of beer whle playing it which always adds to the fun in my alcoholic opinion :)

Anyway, it's good to be here and I look forward to getting to making some new gaming friends.

Same here, I never even knew about Order of the Stick or Mr. Burlew's work until I seen the Kickstarter campaign through a friend. I'm a big fan of comics and look forward to reading Order of the Stick. It's awesome Mr. Burlew has such great fans that support his work. That Kickstarter campaign was super impressive! Hi to everyone,

The kickstarter-insanity and my increased following of the board inspired me to register myself. I read the comic since ca. strip 100, but only started to browse the board like one year ago. Maybe now is the time to become an active member of the community.

As you can see by my profile, i am in my late 20s, live currently in Hamburg and therefore am not a native english speaker - please excuse possible misspelling or misused expressions and colloquialisms for that reason.

I stopped playing D&D some years ago and switched to other systems - but OotS still reminds my of the glory of the Attack of Opportunity and Greater Cleavage (*snicker*)...

Hey folks! I figured I'd best make my first contribution (of negligible value) here in the board helpfully linked by a floating box. Courteous things, those boxes. I'm less familiar with D&D than with White Wolf's Old World of Darkness systems, which, as my siggie shamelessly spews, I run. Most of the proper dungeoncrawling experience I've had has been with one really awesome DM, who's nice enough to let me go "oh crap, that was bad" and re-roll things. Be gentle!!
