That would require knowing the circumstances of that meeting.

That's essentially what he looks like. Honestly, I think they would have met if for no other reason than she wanted to know why he looks like he does.

Evan uses magic to travel between worlds, which is probably a far-cry from what Katya uses (I'm assuming tech based portals). So yeah, they may have run into each other from time to time. Katya would probably know Evan as something of a weirdo who doesn't mind seedier places wherever he can find them, but is generally a good person

Her stuff isn't only tech or magic, she uses a bit of both wherever it helps. Enchanting a tech item so it has a never ending energy source is pretty much a requirement for someone who might end up in a place without easy access to those energy sources.

But yeah, I dunno, I don't think a guy she bumps into a few times who looks kinda strange would really be that memorable to her, since that happens all the time. When you hop entire dimensions, remembering someone because they 'look weird' applies to just about everything, and it stops being odd.

'S kinda why I was asking about an actual instance, because she might actually remember something specific that happened.

I don't know that she would steal anything important unless she had a pretty good reason to do so, so it was more likely him that did if that's the story we're going with. They could have gone anywhere in the multiverse, so I don't really have any ideas from that point.
