Matthias was hard at work in his new tombstone-engraving shop when he began to hear an odd rattling coming from the ventilation system. It stopped for a moment, then resumed, gradually getting louder and louder, as if something heavy was approaching. Matthias was about to try looking through the vents to see what all the commotion was, but before he could, Archer burst through the vent, flew across the room and collided head-first with an unfinished headstone.

Archer had a wild look in his eyes as he looked at Matthias and whispered, "The roaches! They're armed!" before collapsing into an exhaustion/head trauma-induced slumber.

Entry from the journal of an unknown female.
(Entries are undated but, as far as we can tell, sequential.)

You will never guess what’s happened today! A boy asked me to dance! The boy wasn’t really my type but then again no one left really is. Anyway – I wasn’t about to pass that up so away we whirled!

Seeing us dance, it was remarked how well we performed and someone put forward the theory that a wolf (used to using 4 legs) would dance more awkwardly then a human (used to walking around on 2).

A complicated vote shot up and resulted in Matthias and Duneyrr (the two most shady characters around if you ask me!) being forced into a dance off!

Well - off they went!

Duneyrr started if with a funky robot and the crowd went wild!

Before the song could end, however, Matthias hit restart and showed he could do just as well. He then broke seamlessly into some MC Hammer!

By now the crowd was more or less convinced neither was a wolf but that Matthias had shown them more. People started to form a ring around Duneyrr and knowin his time was almost up pulled his last trick out of the bag. He broke through, grabbed Matthias and danced head to head!

Matthias finally had to break down, concede defeat and declare his undying love for Duneyrr.

The crowd let Matthias know he had one more dance to do. He was strung up and found out to dance the hangman’s jig well too! There was really nothing to choose between them so I was shocked to find him growing fur in the noose! I don’t think we’ll be using the dance off test again but I may dance with my admirer though.

Summary: Matthias2207 was Lynched. He was a Werewolf.
Night 6 begins now and ends in not less than 24 hours.

Thoughts on Matthias being a wolf are good spot on. Thoughts on Duneyrr being a wolf are also surported. Duneyrr came up as one of Internet Flea's suspicions as well on the list he sent me before he was lynched.

Neither has been scried to my knowledge. So use your thinking caps when pointing people. Today Tomorrow we hang the another one we trust the least!!

So, other then claiming to be a villager Duneyrr - tell us how you will help team villager win the game? That is really a more important question as to why or why not someone should be lynched.

Well, other than the obvious (keeping the villager:wolf ratio as high as possible), I don't know how good I'll end up being. Honestly, the more useful I am publicly, the bigger of a NK target I'll be; since Goof is the closest to being confirmed town and is a near confirmed representative for the seer, he will inevitably be baned.

Though if you ask me questions by PM, I would be more than happy to give my opinions, as I don't consider myself inept when it comes to wolf psychology!

Obituaries

Anthony Ron, renowned scientist and friend of many, died last night in a tragic sequence of events. As is too common he is survived by no family and his property has gone to the sanctuary treasury for the good of us all.

Anatharon (as he was known to his friends) has been working, since the door was opened, in conjunction with 4 other scientists. Originally they were trying to develop a vaccine, however, the discovery of this werewolf mutation 6 days ago pushed them in a new direction. They have been studying unaffected animals at the Sanctuary Zoo for a possible genetic immunity that could yield a suitable therapy or cure to the mutation.

They met with little success and the constant threat of brutal murder by the wolves clearly took it’s toll on Anthony’s mind. He became quite paranoid over the last few days of his life and changed his name. Possibly to escape pursuers but it’s more likely he wanted to empower himself…at least subconsciously. He didn’t want human frailties anymore so called himself “Inhuman Bot”. It’s hard to get less human than that.

It was only shortly after his name change that he, and his colleagues, discovered the body of their new friend, Mr. Fang - the zookeeper, in his own tiger pit. This horrendous blow was softened by their wish being granted. A werewolf was successfully caught and killed. With a mutated body to examine the scientists were confident a cure could be found. The addition of a second body for autopsy only raised spirits.

Now unfortunately we come to the unhappiest part of Inhuman Bot’s tale. His friend (who wishes to remain anonymous – John) tells us that last night as they walked home from the lab together Inhuman caught the scent of something delicious. “I thought this odd” explained John “because I couldn’t smell a thing”. They followed his nose until they came to a crowded street. Many people walking and talking on their way home from work. Inhuman walked directly over to a particular man, the talented composer Mr. Goof, screamed “IT’S YOU!” and leapt at him. While in mid-air he transformed into a werewolf and ripped the man’s jugular out.

The crowd promptly produced any number of sharp knives or heavy sticks and beat Inhuman to death.

It is theorised that the werewolf mutation occurs as the side effect of a disease which can be transferred from an infected corpse and that it holds a genetic memory of some kind. While Mr. Goof is unlucky enough to have been attacked twice at least from now on we know that any wolf corpses are to be burned.

He changed his name to avoid his own humanity. How cruel the irony.

With that the would-be assisstant ambles out to spread his message of faith.

Grumbling about the Overseer and the increasing amount of weirdos and work...and of course the still constant songs he'd heard a few million times he made his way back to his work station. When he arrived he spotted Calar who he hadn't seen in quite a while.
