I know. It's just that the table looks horrific when taken out of context, so it makes a good picture.

At the very least, you didn't post anything involving snails. Or the first chapter. Or the one with the scar. Scratch that, the rest of the manga. Reading it must be awfully similar to reading The King in Yellow, I swear I must make sanity checks every time I remember the snails oh god the SNAILS

It's probably something about the way it's presented in the manga and/or what relates to it, in much the same way Silent Hill : Homecoming ruined children's drawings for me.

That is actually one of the most tame picture (and overall chapter) in the manga. The hair of some girls are being infected by the "Curse", becoming sentient, and doing very weird stuff.

Uzumaki is a horror manga taking place in a nice little Japanese town. Disturbing, horrific things start happening, all having to do with spirals. At first, people are just apparently going insane, but very quickly, it's obvious the laws of physics themselves are freaking out. I won't say more, except that spirals exist everywhere in nature.
If you can read it all without feeling at least vaguely nauseous, good for you.

Thanks for the explanation, now I'm definitely intrigued. I'll see if I can find it somewhere nearby. As a fan of Silent Hill, that sounds right up my alley.

    Uzumaki.

    a REALLY CREEPY horror Manga.

That starts creepy, passes "disturbing" about midway through, and keeps going.

    It's like the Anti-Gurren Lagann.

Well...I was able to get through the manga of Elfen Lied which is incrediably disturbing...I believe I shall give this a try too.

If I survive it, all the more ideas for a horror game to runs for my players right?

Uzumaki is a lot better than Elfen Lied, but Elfen Lied is more disturbing because the author expected us to sympathize with Lucy.

Of course it's easy to be better, Silent Night Deadly Night part 2 is better for the humor alone.
