Also, read your story. Looks interesting so far. There are a couple of redundant lines (the detective said "honestly" before "to be blunt") I don't see any issues so far.

So instead, let me run a possible fic idea by you, and see if it's worth adding to my to-do list? A point of view fic of Luna and Nightmare Moon about some of the events of the pilot, the latter subtlety influencing the former. Throughout the fic, Luna grows aware of the influence of whatever it is Nightmare Moon is, and tries to fight it to no availl. It culminates in a Battle In The Center of the Mind, when the Elemental Blast gives Luna a massive power up, and makes her able to cast off Nightmare Moon's possession.
