And Quinn...rather methodically sets about her assigned task. Removing bits that shouldn't be there, rearranging bits that shouldn't be where they are, and Laying On Hands to complete the task in each place.

"Sorry deadtime hit me. You need some help by the removing process? Or is there anything missing on him?"

He's not missing any pieces somehow. Though use magic sparingly. He's already had a fair amount to keep him alive. A small amount to seal up after surgery instead of stitches works pretty well.

[Eadin]

"I should go back to Trog's. Will he be okay?"
The patrons might have already wrecked the place in her absence.

[Zefir]

Infirmary

"He should be all right now. Quinn is one of the best healer here so he won't die. May I ask what happened? You know maybe he got something we don't see."

[Eadin]

She nods."Thanks. An Eldritch abomination exploded in the tavern. He was burned and hit by shrapnel."
She turns to the door.
"I'll be at Trog's if needed."
And with that she leaves.

[Morty]

Reelshka is standing in the doorway, watching the opreation with a worried expression. She doesn't like Reinholdt very much, but his state is still gruesome. She's also holding a thick briefcase.

[Lakeside]

Sophie is sitting there, splashing her feet in the water. She's thinking about which redemee she should talk to now.

"Well than Quin I think it's your job I'm not aware of eldrich abnormatis. Don't even know what that is sounds like a curse or such."

Andy will wait until Quinn is ready or until she tells him if his help is needed.

Outside

Quinn listens dispassionatly to Valaria's story. Part of it matches, but the rest...

Well.

As the woman starts sobbing, though, something changes in Quinn's face. And she leans over to try and embrace Valaria, offering her a shoulder to cry on.

[Outside]

Valaira is embraced and continues bawling her eyes out on Quinn's shoulder. She laments for a good minute or so before she begins to compose herself, at which point she looks up into Quinn's face, expecting chastisement for her actions.

[Infirmary]

Maleus believes the being he is a part of is what causes all death everywhere. It's generally a vast, impersonal thing, but occasionally aspects and avatars will break off and do some stuff before rejoining. And who knows, maybe Maleus is right about being part of the greatest being of death in the multiverse.

"Well sure. But you should still be more careful about how you describe her." The man pauses in thought. "What are you here for again? I was asleep except for the last bit of the conversation."

So that's why he was in the corner...

In Blaine's society, any organic being that needs to feed upon a living (or, as is normally the case, a formerly living) organism is a part of what causes death everywhere (in addition to psychopaths and such). They are like prying fingers tearing bloody flesh asunder. But like all pieces of a whole, these "fingers" need something greater to command them.

Blaine then draws in a deep breath and exhales.

"To tell you why I am here..."

"That answer would require that I know where here is."

Blaine asserts in purely factual tone.

Sleeping in a corner can't be good for the spine. >.<

I don't think the avatar of death itself needs to worry about back problems.

"That's easy. This is the Good League of Good. GLoG for short." Maleus answers quickly.

The shrapnel and abrasions and internal bleeding have all been dealt with!
All that remains are broken bones and those horrible burns. I have no idea how hospitals deal with horrible burns. He'll probably be a mummy once this over though.

He's stable now, however.

Zero does not look very happy. It seems to him that Valaria would not be upset if she enjoyed what she did.

Valaira is aghast when Quinn callously refers to the blatant butchering of living, breathing beings as "work."

Work was filing papers, moving boxes, or conducting research, not causing so much bloodshed that rivers formed of blood and tears with bits of flesh floating atop this vile medley of the grave!

No, this most certainly is not "work." Valaira only becomes more alarmed by this comparison. No righteous being would even allow that association to enter their mind!

Or so Valaira supposes...

"'Work!' How can you call mass murder 'work?'"

"How could someone even enjoy killing? What did you expect me to say, I sure love it because it has great health benefits and free food?"

"No."

"Just no."

The nauseated Valaira manages to murmur.

"The Good League of Good..."

"Isn't that a bit repetitive?"

"And before I forget, I have absolutely no clue as to why I am here."

Blaine professes.

Regretfully, this is the truth. Blaine really doesn't know much about what is going on.

And yes, I would imagine that the avatar of death itself doesn't need to worry about back problems...

...if it drinks milk daily.

Maleus hasn't even been around for a day. So he still has time to get a glass of milk down.

"It is repetitive now that you mention it. Maybe they just wanted to drive the point home." The avatar shrugs. Seems reasonable enough.

"Well, I don't know why you're here either. Sort of a problem that. Oh well."

Outside

Emotions. Even nearly lacking them, Quinn knows what buttons to push to stir them...
Blame Toby.

She nods. Gives Valaria another hug.
"You are repentant. You wish to never have done it and never do it again. That...is a sign that there is hope for you, that your past need not prevent you from having a future.

I forgive you."

Reinholdt can probably get just a little more magic to deal with the harder to deal with bone breaks, but any more will overload it Quinn.
Probably because uber magical healing fixing everything overnight is silly. It makes much more sense to speed things up over time. *nods*

And is fit enough to go around in a wheelchair now. Which he humbly requests from anyone available. He would like to get some fresh air.

Nurse Piper offers Stroffy a hoverchair, as wheelchairs don't work as well on uneven ground.

He does believe in hoverchairs, right? I don't think there's anything particularly spectacular about the tech there. If not, he'll probably manage to get his hoverchair stuck in the mud from believing it has wheels.

Stroffelnburg believes in hoverround! That's the same thing, right?

Hoverchairs probably exist. But are ridiculously expensive. I know there are still experimentations with hovertanks.

Regardless, the doctor gets in and moves himself outside after thanking Nurse Piper.

The sound of piano music swims from this direction. Perhaps Tina snuck in when no one was looking.

A little table with a chessboard has been set up right outside the Infirmary!

Where Sarah and her friend Orich are quietly playing.

Doctor Stroffelnburg comes out in his wheelchair and moves around a bit.
"Hello there. How are you two?"

Sarah and Orich are how old again?

Outside the Infirmary

"Oh. Hi. We're good." Sarah, who is around six years old, offers her tiny smile to the doctor, then glances cheekily at Orich. "Orich's grumpy cuz he's losing."

Orich is... difficult to approximate. Given his huge, chitiny monster status. But if Stroffel sees everything as normal as possible, Orich probably looks like a burly middle-aged fellow with blocky features and a sour look on his face.

He grunts his agreement and promptly puts Sarah in check. She looks dismayed for a moment before realizing she can simply move her king to the left. Though he usually doesn't have a mouth, Orich frowns.

[Entrance - Guest Cabin]

Kirk returns to the camp, looking in a fairly good mood. Wonder why that is? Whatever it is, he smiles at the sound of the music and starts heading toward the guest cabin. Once outside of it he knocks. "Tina? You in there?"

[Murkus]

Entrance - Guest Cabin

Tina answers and gives him a smirk. She's dressed in a regular t-shirt and a pair of shorts, and it doesn't really fit her otherwise alien appearance. She looks at him, leaning on the doorway with one arm, her free hand on her hip. "What took you so long?"

[Reinholdt]

Outside the Infirmary

Doctor Stroffelnburg chuckles a little.
"That's very impressive. You're very smart."

[The Bushranger]

Where, indeed?
Quinn's philosphy is 'fix everything you can now!'
But, noting impending overload, will switch to more mundane means of healing.
Like alcohol. Mmm, tingling alcohol burning those nasty germs out of cuts!

"That's what everybody says." Sarah replies, beaming at the compliment. She looks at Orich again and gestures for him to move. He no doubt loses a piece.

"What's yer name, mister?" She asks Strofflenburg, quirking a brow. "Haven't seen you around here before."

[Reinholdt]

Infirmary

Now Reinholdt's drunk too! Oh noes!
Unless you mean the other kind of alcohol.
Which I suppose works as intended. It's probably needed for the burn wounds. Maybe. I really don't know how they treat those.

[Outside the Infirmary]

"I am Doctor Stroffelnburg. It's a pleasure to meet you." The doctor offers his hand to Sarah and Orich in turn. Unless Sarah doesn't shake.

"And what's your name?"
