It was at the hole because its as point blank as it can get. I dunno man. I really don't know. Can someone else give us a ruling on Caja Negacion?

Here's the deal: Quincy can draw in Reishi from non-living things, because their spirits are weak. They can't draw it from Shinigami, because their spirits are strong.

It's the same principle as for Hollow using Gonzui. Weak spirits are violently torn from their bodies and eaten. Slightly stronger spirits just momentarily phase out. Strong souls don't even budge.

So basically living things have A.T. Fields that prevent them from merging with things, so we'd need a lot more than Final Form to make people spontaneously dissolve into Tang.

According to Bleach wiki, Caja Negacion is a small box, specifically meant for Espada to punish their Fraccion. So I see no reason why it would've even been designed to trap anyone else than Hollows.

So hole is a requirement.

At this point? Just a little more powerful than an individual student just because of the sheer amount of time she's had her powers compared to those who have had them for, like, two weeks. She hasn't actually been trying to get any stronger for a while, and the students are going to be flying by her soon.

She does have more knowledge on the spiritual matters, however.

Basically, it works against anyone with spiritual power less than or close to Nakahiro's. Someone at seated officer level (any number) would probably be able to see through it. Yoko may get some inkling that there's something wrong with what she's seeing, but she wouldn't directly bypass the effect.
