[Nexus] Trog's Second Floor VIII

Once you walk upstairs in Trog's Tavern, you find yourself looking down a long hall at twenty doors. Each room has one large bed in it, a desk and chair, and a couple of chairs at a small table.

On purpose, a horrible howl come sfrom the floor below, with roughtly the same effects as Power Word: Stun.

((Just to point out, he teleported directly into the room after sensing her alone with Jimmy.))
If the effect depends on a Will save, Jarus will be badly disoriented for a few moments but then recover.

Moose walks upstairs, clearly hoping to get some rest. Jimmy runs by him.

That was wierd.

Lillith shudders for a moment, and then a cruel smile spreads across her face. "You know, Jarus, you are making it very hard for a girl to enjoy herself."

Seeing him disoriented, she draws out the golden dagger and atteps to slit his throat.

Tyl arrives up the stairs, walking fairly slowly as he wasn't sure about a feeling he had been having. Although when he gets up the stairs, he sees that the hallway is empty. Could it have been his imagination? Was anyone in any real danger up here? Maybe it was his boredom playing tricks with his senses. These thoughts run through his mind right before the scream comes from the floor downstairs. Tyl puts his hands over his ears in an effort to protect them and falls to his knees. When the scream is finished, Tyl is surprised to see that he isn't injured and gets up from his knees and starts looking down the hallway. His eyes are pure blue now and the white aura is now very easily noticeable to anyone looking.

Moose hears what's happening in the room, and recognizes Lillith's voice. Huh? He walks over to that room, opening the door. Attempting to, anyways.

[Draken]

Invisible Amaenon stays in place, silent, undetectable, but still with a disturbing aura arround him.

(Also: the Power Word spells allow no save)

He will stagger woozily at the moment she lunges, taking instead a cut across the shoulder. Crying out in pain, he grits his teeth and attempts to psychic-push her into the opposite wall.

Lillith gets slammed against the wall, cursing in infernal she shoot a disentigration spell at Jarus.

Moose clearly opens the door, as no one objects. What the?! Lil, Jarus, stop!

[Katonta]

Tyl snaps his head to look at Moose, his pure blue eyes have a very penetrating stare. Tyl walks over to Moose, there is nothing but complete serenity on Tyl's face, [COLOR="RoyalBlue"]"Moose, can you feel it too? Something is going to happen here, or is already happening, I can't tell. I just have this strong feeling that something is wrong up here."[/COLOR] ((Scratch that)) The light around Tyl is getting to be rather bright to look at.

Tyl stops just outside the room, surveying the inside with his revealing stare. He looks straight at Amaenon and pauses for a moment, as if feeling or sensing something there, but that passes on.

Jarus will dive out of the way, a small bit of robe being turned to ash but no harm done. He then attempts to hold Lilith against the wall.
Moose, she was about to seduce and kill some little kid. She's being possessed, and badly. I think you're the only one who can help her.

[blackout]

Just keep Tyl out of-A little kid? Ok, I'm going to have a few choice words for her when she snaps out of this.

[Tiben]

Tiben comes upstaris and into room #17
once inside he moves in.
He builds a wepons rack,
puts up a display case.
Puts up an armor display rack
and applys many new locks

Out side the room you can hear the sharpening of his blade, and him polishing/cleaning his armor

Moose, that's the problem. It's not her doing this. There's another person, if you will, inside her brain periodically taking control, and keeping her unawares of it by modifying her memories and even what she sees. I think you're the only one who can snap her out of this. You certainly have the best shot at it.

[blackout]

You're right. Jarus, I want you to remove everyone else from the room, and lock it down. No one gets in or out. No teleporting, no gating, no plane shifting, no one coming in through the door. I want me and Lillith to be the only ones in here, it's best if she has no outside influence other than me.

[Draken]

[No telephaty intended, and his mind is protected] Umm... Should I allow them? Or should I hunt her down until she leads me somewhere important... Decisions, decisions.

Even considering he is still thinking on what to do. Amaenon shows his tentacles, four this time. And all of them protude bone spikes.

[LordVader]

Moose, I can't do that. I'm a psyker, not a spellcaster.

"However, he presumably can."
He points at the tentacles.
"That's got to be one of Draken's servants or affiliates, and almost all of them are decent spellcasters at least."

((This is a educated guess for the following reasons. Draken has been following Lilith with his people ever since this happened, and his people are the only ones in Town with tentacles like that.))

Just make it happen! Get everyone out of here and lock down the room. If there are any other targets, she'll be distracted!

Tyl looks to Moose at the mention of his name in the mental conversation, "Moose, what are you thinking to Jarus that involves me? Do you know something about why Lillith and Jarus are fighting?" Even though his tone suggests worry, Tyl's face is emotionless.

Jarus attempts to telepathically communicate with the invisible person.
Please, help Moose.
He is then forced to deadtime, but if it succeeds, the hold will stay in effect.

((You said he showed his tentacles. Ah, misunderstanding, I guess.))

Tyl, I want you to run, now. Lillith's possessed, I need to try and keep her under control. If there's anyone else she'll get distracted.

Lillith screams and a demon known as a Vrok appears in the room, attacking Jarus anyone who enters with claws, teeth, and talons.

[LordVader]

Jarus will un-deadtime, and attempt to hold the Vrock as well.

[blackout]

Dammit! Moose runs at Lillith, and tries to grab her by the sides of her face, as comfortably as he can. Lil, it's me. Pay attention.

Moose's private thoughts:
This is never going to work...

The Vrock lets out a piercing screech, anyone within 30ft will probably be stunned for a few moments.

For an instant, there is a hint of recognition in her eyes, but then her expression turns cold and her voice is not quite her own. "Nice try, flyboy."

[Draken]

And thus, the epic battle of the clerics begin.
