Fantasia grew up in a small village with a small family. about 10 years ago her village was burned down. There were quite a few survivors (at least more than would be expected) but with most were injured. Fantasia lost her horn and back leg after being almost crushed to death by rubble. She used to be great with magic until the catastrophe. She can still use magic but not as well and her control can be unpredictable.

Personality: mysterious and discreet.
Relationships: None, for now.
Cutie Mark: a steel dagger.

Umm... it's big. Very big. Big enough to carry the Clunker Mech and other big mechanicall things that sit in the hanger. The Cirrus would sit back in battle and charge the BFG while the mechs, pegasi, and earth ponies stall the monster and its minions.

It's not new entirely new either so Gearstride doesnt have to be the original captian. She could be the first captain to leave the ship during battle via the Clunker.

Okay, because essentially, Gear views herself a hero and wants to take down the bad guys who further make this world into the crapsack world it is. I had her pinned as a mare with a military family background. Where during basic training, she was a drill instructor's nightmare. She was brilliant but lazy and was essentially kicked out, shaming her family and what not. But she didn't care, because she knew the military would not be the means to her goal. To her the military was not effective as the world was still a crap sack place. (possibly met Silverpine there and got him accidentally kicked out too :P)

and...blah blah blah, I guess through special connections she landed a position onboard The Cirrus doing what she was hired to do. On the side however, she uses their resources to fund her own personal campaign against evil.

Mach might want to make Icy some medicine (wacky consequences?) based on the hunch that something related to poison joke. He's going to have to snap out of the energy drain first though.
