Also, Mike and Mica have been kissing.... passionately seems a little tame a word for it actually..... in the middle of Soft's bar for a while now and nopony seems to have so much as noticed, much less reacted.

Well, in the first 10 minutes they've been in town, my characters have seen a giant airship, a flying talking sword, and a blindfolded, mindreading bartender who's sister is sharing cookies and pina coladas with a genocidal maniac, so a bit of over the top kissing isn't going to bother them that much.

Well, in the first 10 minutes they've been in town, my characters have seen a giant airship, a flying talking sword, and a blindfolded, mindreading bartender who's sister is sharing cookies and pina coladas with a genocidal maniac, so a bit of over the top kissing isn't going to bother them that much.

I'd expect at least a few cat-calls or something, not complete indifference.

Hm, to have Esmeralda to fight or not. On one hoof, I don't see how Lone Star is going to win to be honest. You're talking about somepony who can literally freeze you into a solid ice block... unless you have some magical resistance I don't know of?

You're currently inside his own home, and Lone Star has been preparing in case Rose Bolt ever comes by. The house has runes in it (applied by a unicorn he knows in town, not him) that neutralize all but a very few specific forms of magic (mostly telekinesis and the like, things customers might use to browse the bookshelves) In addition, Lone Star is a far stronger combatant than his lifestyle and profession would suggest - he was indeed holding back against Esmeralda before.

Esmeralda would be unable to cast spells that could really inhibit his ability to kick her rear, and while she could probably wear down the runes, it would take hours to wear them all down.

That would explain it. I was thinking how an unarmed fighter would take down a mage without some sort of help. (I do not think in D&D rules, and I probably never will, so forgive me if this breaks some sort of canon rule or something.)

A fighter can beat up a mage if the mage fights unoptimized (ie, without AC increasing spells) and gets into melee. However, in DnD terms, Lone Star is a monk - he never uses weapons.

And in DnD, monks just plain SUCK

Most probably. But since Lone Star kinda saged you with his horror book monster, I'm currently slightly at a loss on how to turn this into another hilarious episode for Icy.
