Re: ItP Chapter II- Battle for Haruki-Kun
Reinholdt
Why did it have to be you kitty?
Time for the wolves to make up a fake seer claim to take out the one remaining player they need to win the game. There are 13 of us left, we started with 31, that means we've got 5-6 wolves left. They just need to get rid of one of us to win, quite possibly. So, they make up a fake seer claim and put it out there, several days after a real seer really would have done (seriously, there was nothing for them to lose at that point) in the certainty that people would follow it. After all, the wolves almost have a majority, and they only need 1 or 2 villagers to follow their lead to ensure a lynch.
But I know at this point no-one will believe anything I say, so it's moot I guess.
Ah well, if there's one thing the end of today will do it's prove my innocence. Even if it costs us the game to do so. Well played wolves, I've been played like a complete fool and haven't really played the game well myself.

Re: ItP Chapter II- Battle for Haruki-Kun
The problem is, whether banjo is telling the truth (and indeed was telling the truth when he contacted me around Day 3 with a seer claim, and put me in touch with Ramsus), or whether I've been played and he's a wolf, he's right about one thing. We mess up with the lynch today and team Real Life win. From the role list, they should have started with:
The Professor
The Journalist
The Parents (2)
The Hacker
Supagoof
The Doctor
7 in total, of whom one is gone.
I'm gonna say Reinholdt for now. I think the seer claim is a wolf attempt to sway the lynch.
btw, when team Real Life have won, I'd like to know one thing: how the heck did you manage to target so many powerroles without a Devil?!What do you mean "Dungeon Master" isn't a proper job?

Re: ItP Chapter II- Battle for Haruki-Kun
If the new seer claim is from the real seer, then Yay! we can finally lynch banjo (looks likely to happen anyway)!
If the new seer claim is from a real lifer, then it comes at such a time as to divert votes from rakkoon.
Ergo, Those wishing to save banjo should probably continue pointing rakkoon rather than change their vote. Correct? And those who believe the new seer claim should continue to point at banjo. Yes?
Tasroth seems credible to me in terms of countering the new seer claim.
So... I will not be changing my vote at this time. Thanks to all the players who joinedJune 27 ... July 14, 2011July 7 ... July 28, 2012

Re: ItP Chapter II- Battle for Haruki-Kun
You do understand that by splitting points between Rakkoon and Reinholdt we're going to lose, right?
And Lady T, if it's so obvious that this seer claim that's come forward (through a third party with no substantiation I might add) is true and I'm lying, why are you voting for Rakkoon and not me? It doesn't really make any sense.
Probably too late to do anything to save the game, but I ask everyone with interests in the good guys at least taking out a wolf or two before we lose: Vote Reinholdt.

Re: ItP Chapter II- Battle for Haruki-Kun
Okay. I'm looking at Tasroth's post more closely and it says he was contacted "around Day 3" and put him in touch with Ramsus.
But on Day 5 banjo said he couldn't trust his Day 2 and Day 3 scries and although other players suggested that banjo had scried Ramsus. Banjo later said that he hadn't scried Ramsus yet… so banjo simply didn't want to lynch Ramsus yet. ? Why?
Ergo, how did (and why would) banjo put Tasroth in touch with Ramsus around Day 3?
Up until now everything banjo has said has been possible logically (suspicious, very suspicious, but logically possible), but banjo has not discredited Tasroth's claim (which counts as tacit acceptance). Until you can explain yourselves, I must switch my vote tobanjo1985, I suppose.
Please, no more vague statements! Use precise days (or nights). I will not be speculating for you (like so many Playgrounders before have) on how it was possible that you managed to accomplish this.
This vote is also difficult for me because my read on both Tasroth and Reinholdt is Playgrounder. If we lynch a seer, then I guess we have only ourselves to blame.Last edited by Rules Lawyer #1; 2011-07-14 at 03:10 PM.

Re: ItP Chapter II- Battle for Haruki-Kun
This was PM'd to me, thought you'd all get a kick out of it:
Dear Playgrounders,
We accept the fact that we had to sacrifice nine whole days attempting to take Hakuri-kun from you... but we think you're crazy to make us wait on lynch results when the game is clearly ours. You see us as you want to see us... In the simplest terms and the most convenient definitions. But what we found out is that each one of us is a Professor...
...and a Parent...
...and a Hacker...
...a Doctor...
...and a Supagoof...
Does that answer your question?
Sincerely yours, Real Life.

Re: ItP Chapter II- Battle for Haruki-Kun
I thought it was odd that we were still waiting for the lynch result...
I didn't know that we could have the lynch result delayed.
If it is true that the lynch result can be delayed, then I am actually a little bit upset, because it might have changed the outcome if the lynch result was delayed earlier in the game.
Oh well... I say go ahead and end it.
Even if we manage to lynch a Real Lifer, we still have to do the same thing for the next...five(?) days. Not saying it can't happen...
Besides, I'm curious to know if one of the neutral seers was helping them out, or if it was all pure dumb luck. Yeah, I'm guessing dumb luck.
So the question is Rogue Nine... who PMed that message to you? Hmmm? Why would you conceal the identity unless (dun dun DUN), you too are a Real Lifer? *gasp*Thanks to all the players who joinedJune 27 ... July 14, 2011July 7 ... July 28, 2012

Re: ItP Chapter II- Battle for Haruki-Kun
Day 9
Banjo was watching through his unique window, watching as the events unfolded. He knew what he had to do. He had to gather the playgrounders and go after the Professor, Rakkoon.
As Banjo ran down the stairs, Alarra joined him. Shhhhh. Pudding Trolls sleeping. she closed the door quietly. What's going on?
I know.... Alarra cut him off with a finger to her lips. I've found a Real-Lifer. It's Rakkoon.
Alarra looked Banjo in the eyes, then nodded once. I believe you. Let's go get him. And she started down the stairs.
One flight down, Banjo decided to ask. How come you're back? I thought you were taken away in the last game.
I'm not sure. Must be one of those hand-wave things narrators and storytellers do sometimes.
Banjo shrugged and continued down. As they exited the Playground mansion, they found Rogue Nine waiting for them. What's going on Banjo? Have you found any Real-Lifers? he asked, his eyes shining in the darkness.
Banjo nodded in the direction of the Professor's tower. Yes I have, as a matter of fact. He's in that tower over there.
Oh Really, and who would that be? Szilard asked, as he stepped out of a shadow to stand with Rogue Nine.
Banjo and Alarra looked at the pair. There was something odd about them. It's Rakkoon. Banjo proclaimed loudly.
Suddenly a giant orange with eye-stalks lowered down from above. I've always suspected that procyonid was up to something. Stand with us Rogue Nine, Szilard. Let us get a bear wannabe.
Everyone, including Banjo and Alarra looked at Rules Lawyer. Um, yeah. Banjo finally agreed.
Oh come one! You guys know that raccoons are part of the bear family, right? Lady Tialait joined the other three.
Well, yeah. But Rakkoon isn't actually a.....
But he dresses like one.
I don't think he dresses like one, he.....
He's a Were-Rakkoon, silly. Lady T giggled.
I don't think you guys should go that way. Lemonus said quietly. No one had noticed him arrive. They were not entirely sure he was actually there, even now.
Could you change your speech color. Yellow's a bit hard on the eyes.
How's this?
Soooo much better. Alarra said, sarcastically.
Lemonus smiled. Happy to be of service.
And that's when a pink flying kitteh arrived. Stop!! I've just been informed by the real seer, you're all being lead into a trap! Banjo is the Professor. We need to kill him!
The four now standing in the way all look at Banjo, accusing eyes accusing.
FWOOOOMM!! suddenly the night sky was ablaze in bright blue fire. The professors tower leaned forward. Is this true, Banjo? It asked in a booming voice.
Of course it's true. says Rakkoon as he steps out of the Fiery Tower and into sight of everyone else.
Rogue Nine, Szilard, Lemonus, and Reinholdt all smile knowingly at the other four.
Now tell us, where is the soul of Haruki-Kun? He needs it if he's going to join us in Real-Life.
Reinholdt! Banjo says, glaring at the now gray kitteh. I should have known it was you.
You'll never get away with this. Tasroth floats down from the heavens, standing with the other playgrounders.
Why Reinholdt?
But the sniper-kitteh just pulled out a Cylon mask, and began to sing and dance. Burn Banjo burn!
Burn Banjo burn!
Burn Banjo burn!
Burn banjo burn!
Burnin'!
Nice song! Lady Tialait laughed and began to dance along.
To mass posts, yes! A fifty pages long.
Playgrounders gettin' loose y’all gettin' down off the monitor - Do you hear?

Banjo, I think you should explain yourself better. Rules Lawyer says.
Burn Banjo burn! - Playground inferno!
Burn Banjo burn! - Burn that forum down
Burn Banjo burn! - Playground inferno!
Burn Banjo burn! - Burn that forum down
Burnin'!
Nevermind. Rules Lawyer turns back to Reinholdt.
Satisfaction (uhu hu hu) came in the chain quotation

And they all watched in horror as Reinholdt revealed his true form. Supagoof!!!
Even Otakuryoga joined them, but watched silently, unable to say anything helpful.
And so the slaughter of the last of the Playgrounders began.
Rogue Nine pulled out a lightsaber and immediately attacked Banjo, who's only defense was a little doll. The doll stood no chance againt the laser sword, and was cleaved in two. Banjo just watched in horror, then ran for his life. Real-Life wasn't nice.
Szilard stepped toward Alarra, and suddenly she remembered, she really shouldn't be here. She ran back to her Real-Life. He watched, satisfied.
Lemonus and Lady Tialait glared at one another. Suddenly, Lady T hissed at Lemonus and jumped on him, sinking her fangs into his throat. But she retreated post-haste, as the lemon citrus burned in her throat. Heh heh heh. That tickles! He began to chase after her. I want more!!
Rules Lawyer tried to float away, flying from the slaughter as fast as he could. But Supagoof/Reinholdt pulled out his trusty Sniper Rifle, took aim, and started firing away. One eye-stalk gone! Two eye-stalks gone!! Three!! Rules Lawyer finally got out of range, but he wasn't going to be returning anytime soon.
Tasroth flew up and began atacking The Fiery Tower with his angelic light. But it did nothing to the mighty tower. Is that all you got!? The tower leaned back, then flung itself forward, batting Tasroth to the ground with astounding agility, for a Fiery Tower.
Tasroth landed hard against something soft and furry. Something yellow with brown stripes. Something that hadn't said anything this last round. Otakuryoga.
Rakkoon approached Tasroth smuggly. Once again the Real-Lifers had conquered. He reached through Tasroth's chest and extracted what they'd come for. Haruki's Soul. Just like Alarra, he was now there's.
Rakkoon and the others retreated to the Fiery Tower, leaving the Playground once agiian in ruins.
A few days later, cd4 returned. He wasn't part of last stand, for he was AWAY.
