Re: Silent Tide [Kong Pathfinder]
Which one's that coming at?
Spoiler
Also, those attacks of opportunity you provoked...
Attack: (1d20+4)[10]
Damage: (1d6-1)[1]
Attack: (1d20+4)[22]
Damage: (1d6-1)[5]
Watch, those are both 12s on the attack rolls.
Great thanks to Dirtytabs for that ponytar.

Re: Silent Tide [Kong Pathfinder]
GAH. Stupid Reach Scythes. I think that might have dropped me... That was aimed at the one that wasn't shot down by the wizard.

Re: Silent Tide [Kong Pathfinder]
The one he shot at wasn't dropped, hence the two attacks of opportunity, also they're not reach, they were adjacent to you at the start of your action.

AMDAL
Watching the ships sink back beneath the water, Amdal breathes a sigh of relief. "Excellant! Let's hurry and see how the others are doing." He trots off towards the chapel.

Re: Silent Tide [Kong Pathfinder]
Drawing your weapon does, so would firing a ranged weapon in a melee, which the five-foot backward wouldn't get you out of.
Spoiler
Actually, looks like the keys are only five feet long to begin with, a five-foot step back would be falling off the organ. This map is how it would be at the beginning of your turn, if you want to change your actions now that you have it, that's totally fine; entirely my bad for not having it up earlier.
Great thanks to Dirtytabs for that ponytar.

Re: Silent Tide [Kong Pathfinder]
What map?
Also, if I'm out of their range, it doesn't matter if I provoke or not: they can't hit me. The map would be helpful, methinks.

Re: Silent Tide [Kong Pathfinder]
So, you're hopping off the organ?
It's high enough to warrant a tumble to not injure yourself, still good to go?Great thanks to Dirtytabs for that ponytar.

Re: Silent Tide [Kong Pathfinder]
The drow easily lands on his feet at the bottom of the organ and lets fly a bolt that strikes true at the undead in the mists, shattering its body upon impact.
Spoiler
That was the one that would be between the two of you, making it Gartrand's action.

Re: Silent Tide [Kong Pathfinder]
Spoiler
Grease doesn't seem to have messed it up, but what about that landing?
Acrobatics: (1d20)[16]
Fall damage: [roll]1d6[/roll] (if applicable)
Should it land properly, follows up with an attack at Torrim.
Attack: (1d20+2)[10]
Damage: (1d6-1)[1]
While the undead seems to have stuck its landing gracefully enough it seems unable to strike the drow before it.
Spoiler
That makes it Torrim's action.

Re: Silent Tide [Kong Pathfinder]
SpoilerNot necessarily. Some GMs are nice. Also, Necro, you can give "coolness" points etc, or just say, "That did it, forget the rolls." If you want it to work, as a DM, it works. Players don't mind if you fudge a bad roll in their favor, because they were awesome and thought of something smart. If they do, they have bigger issues.
Lemme check. How much damage has Torrim taken, cause he might be out... two hits=kill at level one.
I have 9 HP. Need to go back and check what I've taken..

Re: Silent Tide [Kong Pathfinder]
SpoilerAgreed.
That dropped me to EXACTLY 0.
Torrim fell backwards, unconcious even before his head slammed into the rough stone cobbles of the temple floor.

Re: Silent Tide [Kong Pathfinder]
Wait. I'm now confused. When is this taking place? As in what just happened? Is it the AOOs?

Re: Silent Tide [Kong Pathfinder]
This is in the church, about two rounds after the last action at the pyramid. I just got knocked unconcious by AoOs, yes.

Re: Silent Tide [Kong Pathfinder]
Well, if you five-foot stepped off the organ, you would be out of the range of their AoO, so the only attack you should be taking is the one from the pursuing undead, which missed. I think I may have gotten something a tad mixed up, earlier.
