Default Writing a character unstuck in time?

    Okay...

So, I'm on the last fifth of my novel, and I've been kind of stuck.

To elaborate from the title... The plot follows a woman who has suffered an assault (which we don't see) and wakes up to find herself reliving the weeks leading up to the assault... only in reality the assault was the first event to occur, and her perception is just FUBAR until the events run their course again and she's back at the assault (which we do see this time).

One of the cues that something is wrong is that her relationship with her boyfriend deteriorates over the course of the story, but not in chronological order.

The problem is, I don't know where to start. I have written the end, but that's about it.

I was wondering if you guys might have any suggestions, or at least questions that might help me get this thing rolling. I can't stand having a 4/5's done novel.

Write it in the correct order. Then cut and paste into the order we are presented it, and shade the parts in so they flow properly.

Put the four-fifths of it you have completed away in a metaphorical sock drawer for a while. Read a book you love and start your next story. When you get to the point where you're beating your head off a brick wall in frustration it helps to set the thing aside and let your subconcious bubble over it for a while.

I'd suggest outlining the events in chronological order so you as the writer know what happened. That will clear up your confusion.
