Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
Anyone have gotten allusions to a certain over-sized female anatomy when they read this website's name?

I just noticed that in the last panel here, Elan trips over a treasure chest while looking for the gate.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
In SoD page 84 (which happened 3 years before from the biginning of OotS) there is a little girl who just look like Haley's childhood. Re-used character?

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
In response to some of the naysayers, comic #464. THAT is definitely her spine.
And you know how you can tell? It's still attached to her torso.
Crack in the ground my ass.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
That's just silly. It's twice as long as her upper body, and we know from panel 1 that she still has the spine connected to her brain as far down as the arms. Besides, we know from seeing Roy's and Xykon's skeletons, among other examples, that bones in OotS are white.

I just noticed that male Greenhilt's have a family history of premature hair-loss/balding.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
I believe, though I'm no expert, that the genes for male pattern baldness are passed through the female line. In other words: you don't inherit it from your father, but from your mother's father.
As for Roy, he's not bald - he's shaven-headed, which is an option for tough-guy stereotypes."None of us likes to be hated, none of us likes to be shunned. A natural result of these conditions is, that we consciously or unconsciously pay more attention to tuning our opinions to our neighbor’s pitch and preserving his approval than we do to examining the opinions searchingly and seeing to it that they are right and sound." - Mark Twain

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
Sir, that is most definitely a crack.
- It's too long
- It's not white
- Placement =/= proof
- It's clearly from the piece of the throne embedded into the ground
smugsure of yourself in the future, thank you.No, not only has Rich never done anything like that (and it's a bit of a stretch to figure anyways). The colors are going uphill because they are underground in a mine. Not only are characters drawn that way when going up hill (any other way would be rather awkward) but Haley is not in a great position to properly pull the cart.Last edited by Dvandemon; 2011-06-20 at 02:07 AM.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
I'm glad that my comment has triggered some debate. Aside from the fact that in comic we've seen both Eugene and Horace with not very much hair, at an age where they still have brown beards; most of my realisation came from bonus material:
In OtOoPC Pg30:SpoilerEugene says to a 21-year-old Roy: "So, I see you shaved your head. Figured you'd beat genetics to the punch, eh?" The implication that Roy could be approaching baldness at 21, together with the use of the word genetics could show that premature baldness runs genetically in the family. (I'll be honest I didn't make the link theis early on, but it was certainly something that backed up my argument when I did make the discovery)
In SoD Pg20:SpoilerWe see a young Eugene showing signs of hair loss in Panel 4 (compared to Panel 2) and has lost all his hair within a few years after that. I'm only guessing that it's a few years, but at the very most he must be forty-one (using info from page 41 of OtOoPC, and the fact that Xykon killed Fyron 40 years ago) which seems a bit early to be completely bald.
But what finally brought all this to my attention was something Roy says in the preface to DStP:Spoiler"What about hair? I shave my head, but will the resurrection spell know that? Will it give me a full (well, full-ish) head of hair by default?" In other words at the age of twenty eight, Roy knows that his hair will not grow back over his whole head, regardless of whether he shaves it or not.
Sorry this post is so spoilery, but it's better to be safe than have someone complain about it. Just so you know, if you haven't read the books, none of these are major spoilers.Last edited by FireDrake; 2011-06-20 at 06:17 AM.

725 also matches with 50 - although someone's given the army new helmets and Tarquin appears to have lost some weight on the journey to the Western Continent.

If you find yourself watching Power Rangers and wonder how some characters got their powers and zords back for an anniversary episode, just assume they were restored off screen. They have 20+ seasons of team geniuses to call on.

It's called Art Evolution. You're not supposed to notice.

DM: I said, roll for initiative. They like their cheese really ripe in these parts. They have the ooze type.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
In the strip 437, before V deintegrate the horse, the reins are grey, after V desintegrate the horse, the reins become brown.
Took me some time to notice it.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
If you zoom in close, you can see that they are only grey against the horse's bones. The part that's seen over the blue sky background is brown.
My guess is that the grey part is due to anti-aliasing in the art program, and wouldn't be seen as such in the print version..
