Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2 (Now Voting: Cosmology)
My first thought was to avoid strict limits on the number of planes, since the first VUACS was a Ying/Yang cosmology, but after thinking about the idea of Gods and other normally extraplanar beings living on the same plane as mortals, I'm going with One Single Plane.

Imma go for Locus of Stability. It's like a single plane, but expanding into planar options.

I'll vote Islands in a Stormy Sea. If the runners up are taken into account, it could be interesting to have there be a few Locus of Stability that make up the main islands in the stormy sea.

Considering some things I heard on the IRC, I'd like to make a suggestion about the next poll. Either Race Relations (how the different races get along), Source of Magic (How magic works - energy from the earth, dandruff of the gods making magic dust, inner energies, etc.), or non-PC Inhabitants.

Tech Level and/or Civilization Level might also warrant consideration. Civ Level being a question of whether we have things like high-magic utopian societies made with the blessings of the gods lying around.

Locus of Stability
i'd vote for "one single plane", but every time that gets done its implied that there are other worlds out there and the single plane is in a corner of some kind. which for me is not "one single plane"

Doesn't look like we're getting
One Single Planeso I'm going to make a last minute change to Locus of Stability in hopes to push it ahead in the final stretch. If my text is blue, I'm being sarcastic. But you already knew that, right?

According to my tally, Locus of Stability was ahead by one vote at the moment you declared a tie.

Well then. No sense in an unwarranted Sudden Death turning a non-tie into a tie.

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2 (Now Voting: Cosmology)
No, I don't think so. It was that when you declared a tie, that was before someone changed their vote to stormy sea. However, there are 15 votes for stormy sea, meaning it would've been 14 before that. And unless I'm missing something, locus of stability wasn't higher than 14.

On page 25 Draz74 changed his vote from Locus of Stability to One Plane. That gives you 17 Total Votes for Locus of Stability

My confusion on the tie came from that the last tallied number was 15 for Island in the storm, and 13 for Locus of stability. If you count up the last pages numbers, these would reflect a tie. Going through it looks like the numbers weren't tallied correctly.
I'd also like to say porting elements from one into the other shouldn't be completely out of the question. After all whose to say that there isn't something beyond the Locus that acts like a sea of chaos matter.

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2 (Now Voting: Prestige Classes)
Indeed we can!
Big poll here, with a lot of options - because it's time to vote on Prestige Classes!
Now, here's the deal: six votes. No write-ins - I mean, you can go ahead and do it, but they won't hit the table. Still good way to feed the team your ideas.
Of the top six, we guarantee we'll implement at least three. Since there's no strict guarantees regarding any single class, find as many interesting ones as you can and get them up there! And yes, we'll probably add in more anyway because we're silly like that.Last edited by afroakuma; 2011-06-27 at 02:44 AM.

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2 (Now Voting: Prestige Classes)
First Hero: Because some of us just want to strangle a bloody lion with DR 30/epic and bludgeoning to death with our bare hands, skin it with its own claws, put its hide on as a coat, and then head off to mash a few hydra heads in as a finisher for the day.
Original Heretic: When Creation itself is still very much in progress, when the God of Things That Get Stuck in Drawers is a perfectly valid concept, when all myths are very much alive, when you can look out your window and see a creature that did not exist last week, the person who can look at the gods and declare that they are not real has balls of solid iron and should be rewarded for that.
Bearer of the Execration: The idea of someone who walks in the Garden and destroys all they touch is a poignant and almost tragic image. In the midst of all this creation, there is also destruction and war. These bearers of the Execration remind you of that.
Fatemaker: Grab your fate and change it. Amazing power to rewrite reality, maybe even take your first step towards godhood. Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, who erases his name from death's books, Sisyphus, who tangled the threads of the fates and shamed Hades into letting him come back to life, these are Fatemakers and they are awesome.
Primal Funnel: These people almost feel like their own personal Loci of Stability. Just as the mush that can charitably be referred to as Planes swirls around the mortal world, the raw energy of creation gathers around this person.
Jungle Runner: There is a LOT of nature out there. Someone should learn to live it, really.Last edited by Ajadea; 2011-06-27 at 03:57 AM.
