Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2
I think I'm going to have to go with Garden World, I love the idea of wide-spread grasslands, forests, and jungles. I'd imagine wood would be a much more common material than metals, and that hunter-gatherers would be a lot more common than in most settings... sounds like a wonderfully tasty setting.

Votes tallied through The Dark Fiddler.
For those who have an option other than the frontrunners they'd like to vote for but are discouraged, I'd just like to say that the vote-changing option means these things can do a complete 180 if people see some support moving to new options.Need a place to hang? Com'on Garden world, don't be beat out just because a popular video game had an amusing character. Besides that only incredibly interesting if we have inhabited Jovian moons with various awesome sub-environments to go along side the stark nothingness.

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2
Plus one for Garden World. I'd like to point out, (don't know if it's been brough up) that a planet overrun with plant growth can still have different terrain types and climates.

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2
I vote Garden World. Just seems like there's so much that can be done with that. "Aw, I don't wanna go back to Moldopolis."
But I highly suggest incorporating some Cliff World, that's just an awesome idea.Avatar by the one and only Ceika.

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2
Actually, I'd like to change my vote to World Unbounded. The idea of an utterly unique and fantastic world appeals to me. One where the gods may be reachable not through spells, but through a short trip to the correct areas. A world where walking in the same direction from the same starting point at the same speed may put you in a completely different place. A magical equivalent of a Dyson Sphere, where the path to the heavens or hell is visible from the ground because they're directly above you.

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2
Alright, Ina has badgered me into voting, so I have to go with Cliffworld. I can't think of another setting that does that, while I can think of good examples of the others.

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2
You know, thinking about it I'm going to change my vote from Sky World to World Unbounded as well. Mostly because I'd like to see a campaign setting totally alien from things that we've seen before.

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2
I vote for Space because then you can have a lot of crazy different justifications for races existing or being what they are. Plus, if you combine that with magic, you could include a city with magic FTL teleportation "cannons" that shoot you to parts of the city on other planets, possibly resembling the other choices.
Shame I didn't make it into the team, but better luck next time!Last edited by Morph Bark; 2011-06-18 at 07:00 AM.

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2
What?
I vote for space. A lot of the options that are here I already worked on or that I plan to work on as part of my settings, so I probably would have voted one of them otherwise. But space is new - especially if it will be fantasy themed space. I`m a bit worried that it would be taken to directions I won`t like, but I`m willing to take that risk.Madly In Science, an RPG in which you play mad scientists, you can get it for free.
Spoiler: Some other things.
