Not hardly. Ante- has entered English as a prefix meaning "before" in words such as antecedent, antebellum and anterior, to name a few. Per- as a prefix in English has numerous connotations; "through," "thoroughly" and "extremely" all line up to some extent. The Latin word per, meanwhile, indicates "through" or "during."

If you're campaigning on "Latin is a silly language," you've got another thing coming.

No, I'm campaigning on " Latin is an awesome language, but voting for a word in Latin for a Campaign title is silly, if you base it entirely on the fact that it's a Latin word.

Isn't primordium also a Latin word? Granted, it's one that got absorbed into English, but still.

Primordium sounds more like some sort of futuristic element. I don't like it because it is exactly the opposite effect of what we should be going for.

And Perantea sounds like some silly romance novel. Boring!

Don't be silly... I don't see Fabio on the cover anywhere!

Yes, but that's because your eyes have become glazed with too much POWER!!!, causing you to lose sight of some things. I, on the other hand, do see the Fabio on the cover. And it is not glorious.

Hence why the setting title should be Perantea: The Primordium to make for awesome romancing between the gods and the first heroes.

What's that you say? Romance? Fabio?

This sounds perfectly appropriate for a world-seducing druid! I cast my free (again, again) vote for Perantea!
If I had a +1 Pan of Frying I could totally do that!
