I'm gonna go with the fork, which I believe he called a dinglehopper (a term that got repeated a lot after I first saw it). Scuttle thinks it's some kind of combs.

Hm. The only Pauly Shore movie I've seen is Bio-Dome, and I don't remember seeing any cavemen (aside from Stephen Baldwin). Since Lex-Kat said movies, I'm going to guess that the caveman was in Shore's next two movies after Encino Man, namely Son in Law and In the Army Now.
