Yes. My mom told me the most amazing story ever. Apparently last year on shark week, a shark bit this kid's arm off, and the family dragged him out, while the uncle dragged the shark to shore and beat it to death. Hardcore.

On another, non-shark related note , I just starting writing out the rules for Omnitopia: The Play-by-Post game. It's going to play out like a Fable PbP game mixed with Minecraft. Players will be able to whatever they want (assuming it fits in with the rules, of course).
Players can hunt down the endagered race that is the Pervsharks. They could build a volcano lair, buy an eyepatch and tuxedo, and declare themselves a supervillain. They could fight dragons. Cool idea, huh?

Okay, I've figured out the base mechanics. However, while writing out the races, I have discovered a problem. Each race has it's own unique ability (Catfolk has a higher speed score, Dwarves get more Health, etc). However, I can't figure out what bonuses to give to Goblins and Gnomes.

Obviously gives Goblins a higher sneak, Gnomes more magic, and add a special dwarven ability to dig holes.

Nope. Undead is a special condition players can get that's broken down into three categories (Zombie, Vampire, and Ghost).

The events of the PbP will be mentioned in the comic on the occasion (in the comic, it'll be stated that Baxter Studios released a Pen and Paper version of the game, hence the PbP). It's a very complex idea I have for combining the two, so I won't explain it in full

At the moment, I don't need any help, but if I do I'll let you know. Here's the basics of the system:

Players role percentile dice for attack roles and skill checks (like cutting down a tree)

When doing damage, or some random encouner tables, players role d4s, d6s, d8s, d10s, and d12s.

Every three levels players get a perk. Some of these range from giving you skill bonuses to totally different things (The Humanitarian perk, for example, allows you to eat dead bodies).

Players will spawn on a coastline similar to the one in the comic.

Players can cut down trees, smash stones, and dig to get materials. Wood and Dirt as the most common. Materials can be used to craft buildings, furniture, weapons, armor, and adventuring gear.

Players will earn XP from crafting, fighting, exploring, and succesfully using their skills. When enough XP is earned, players can level up.

A Player's Attractiveness score is determined by their race (a goblin starts out with a lower score for example, while humans start off with a higher one) and clothing (so a mask will lower it while a tuxedo increases it). Attractiveness score is basically used to determine NPC reactions. Having a low Attractiveness score basically means your guy looks very sinister and people may flee or attack on sight. Having a high Attractiveness score means people will like your guy a bit more.

Races give your character different bounses. Humans gain a perk every two levels instead of every three, Gnomes have a higher Cut, Dig, Mine, and crafting skills, Dwarves get more Health when they level up, etc

Can't wait for this, although there are a few things I just realized after readin your list.

1. I'm going to start off with a low Attractiveness rating since he'll be a dragon

2. It'll be at the lowest possible once I become undead

3. I'm going to have to forge my ENTIRE ARMOR and then put runes on it. I know what I'm going to do for the next 7 ingame months.

4. Would I still be able to take the humanitarian perk to eat carcasses?

5. I'm going to have to be a hermit living in the forest considering my low attractiveness rating.
