I'm not trying to accuse you of anything, Mind. I apologize if it came across that way. It's just that I don't want you, anyone else, or myself picking up bad habits that could cause bad feelings to spread through this FFRP universe. I find frustration is hard to fix IRL, let alone over the internetz.

Everyone involved in Zefir's dragon fight thing is leaving a plotclone behind for him to interact with when he returns, right? I'm not trying to meddle in affairs that are not my own, but I know that it would upset me if I was all setup for a plot, deadtimed, and found out that all my posting was for naught because everyone I was interacting with left while I was sleeping or working.

Again, just trying to keep us all friends here. If you don't like what I'm writing, just ignore me or write something like "Curse you meddling kid! ".

I think exactly that happened. And it really pissed my. I asked for premission and what happenen people say oh no it doesn't effect me. the spell is no Time stop as some may thought it's a zone where people aren't able to move and the strange swordswoman walks in and out as she wants yeah uys I relly like this since making a plotclone is SOOOO hard.

Just remember everyone, that you can't force people to be in your plot. If the player doesn't want to participate in it, for whatever reason, then you have to accept that and let their characters exit. The reason might be 'I'm in too many plots already' or 'I don't think this plot looks interesting' or 'I interact with the same few people a lot and I'd like to branch out' or 'I interact with the same few people a lot and I'm comfortable with that'. Heck, the reason can even be 'I don't know, I just don't feel like it.'

Remember, we all owe each other civility and politeness. We do not owe anyone else roleplay interaction. If we start posting because we feel like we have to, then it becomes work instead of play. And nobody wants that.

It does not really allow her to change the timeline, though. That would be godmodding.

It does let her be two places at once simultaneously with being three months older than herself.

I've not been posting here in FFRP recently, but I felt I should respond to this-

This is not a good idea. Not because it is necessarily just flat out wrong or something, but because this isn't a video game, or a movie, but a large scale, cooperative roleplaying game. It's taken me a while to start figuring out where the differences are, but one of the biggest things you have to remember is that your characters, your plots... they're not central. You're not in control, and nor are you the focus. As such, this kind of thing doesn't work in FFRP, because it hinges on the assumption that this is the MAIN villain, the big boss, the person on which the climax hangs. Furthermore, most characters don't experience growth in power, because there is no end to the game, or climax. Therefore, if your character is super powerful in the beginning, he's still going to be super powerful in the end, and the characters aren't necessarily going to have picked up the power and skill to deal with that.

Differences in genres and formats can completely change what is good and bad storytelling, and while FFRP shares some qualities with games, it also has many significant differences which make attempting to directly translate things from one to the other impossible.

it's more the fact that it's like listening to a rich kid complain about how his dad buying him a Porsche and a Mercedes, when he's got a perfectly good BMW at home (more in the sense that he's complaining about too many good things. I am not comparing women to cars. at least not intentionally)
