Or Lumpy Space is another realm seperate from Ooo proper, and it has its own version of the book?

One thing I liked about the episode is the casual instance of PB just random cutting the limbs off her experimented creatures. Her insanity is just the norm now.

They never seemed to be in any pain and the attaching process was quick and simple.

Well it just rather means that she's not one of THE princesses who have a crown that holds one the keys to unlocking the books powers... I mean there are A LOT of princesses in Ooo(over 30 so far), more than the number of keyholes(9) in the Enchirdion; So not every royal in Ooo has one of the gems... Actually thinking about it, i find it a bit odd that the did not include the flame royal family in the montage of royals; given their prominence in the series through flame princess I would think that they would be included.

I like to think that Billy was just a normal guy until he was hit by a stray beam of gamma radiation magic, and now he turns into a twelve fingered, thirty foot tall, gray skinned abomination when he gets apathetic about the world. You wouldn't want to see him when he gets apathetic about the world.

Actualy, GURP's might work. The point system works better when it comes to building the cast, and one could build a equaly magical and tech-based happy little monster-filled land with the splats.
You make good points, and yeah, I would imagine that there would be a lot of homebrew necessary for D&D.

Not too familiar with GURPs (I glanced over the rules as prep for a game that never happened), nor do I know any systems with a stunt system.

Why, how many limbs does it take to perform perfect cartwheels, of course! But one must find that valuable balance; too many limbs and the creature will not be able to function normally as well as perform perfect cartwheels.

Candy people seem to be nearly immune to pain anyways. The marshmallow kids suffered no ill effects from being on fire other than being gooey for a while. Peppermint Butler and several others broke off pieces of their own bodies so Bubbleum could age herself up again. They're pretty friggin resilient.

Eh, we have seen things from the perspective ofother characters, as well as seen things Finn and Jake know nothing about, like the ending for the last episode shortly after the Mushroom War.
But besides evil magic, it could also be partly the different laws of physics of a different universe, a world where dogs don't talk and can't stretch and grow their body and internal anatomy.
