Tyndmyr's Creations - Long Live Mad Science!
Aright...I'm going to toss up all manner of randomness. So, rather than spamming with a variety of threads, I'll just post em all here.
*Coming up: 3.5 Campaign settings, fantasy fiction, and in august, a video game written in C#!*

Knols. Apparently, over 40,000 people have read these miscellaneous things, which is a bit mind boggling for quickie guides I slapped together on topics I knew.
Getting Smarter Part 1 - A series of articles focused on mental self-improvement.
7th Sea Optimization - Munchkins, rejoice. Someone's finally put together a guide for cheesing this system. I'll likely add more in the future.

Re: Tyndmyr's Creations
This picture is of a lego creation I recently made. In the words of my japanese friend "ahahaha....you're going to hell".
Also, the Master of Transmutation 3.5 base class.Last edited by Tyndmyr; 2011-07-18 at 11:38 PM.

Re: Tyndmyr's Creations
Oh hell, I have an army of them. They're used as the "generic bad guy" model in our D20 campaign. Those were just the ones I felt like using...and a couple of them are modified somewhat.

Re: Tyndmyr's Creations
No. Not a single elf. Every other collector I know has gotten one, but I have yet to get one of the pointy eared bastards. I literally have every other model.

Re: Tyndmyr's Creations
One day, sir, one day...
Added links to my 3.5 creations. Twinworlds...I have a ridiculous amount of stuff for. I kinda want to make a book out of it and publish it.

Re: Tyndmyr's Creations
Yeah, I expect there'll be quite some variety, just been on a D&D kick lately...and my lego collection is immense, so there might be more of that as well.
Added the Eternal Warrior class.
Expected future things: Astroids-like space shooter video game. D20 future adventure module(with mecha!). White Rain adventure module(with Aircraft Carrier!).

Re: Tyndmyr's Creations - Long Live Mad Science!
Time for some art. Not my strongest subject by a long shot, but hey...practice makes less terrible and all that.
http://travislerol.com/Graphics/Blue-starfighter.png
Sub out the Blue in the link for Green, Yellow, Red, Maroon, or Grey as desired.
Possible improvements include some detailing, and some cell-shading. With both of those, it might look pretty decent.
Also, more writing. A quickie guide to getting smart(seriously, why are such things not already popular? There should be like...a guidebook to life issued to kids.) Also, 7th Sea optimization guide. Because, yknow, SOMEONE has to break it.Last edited by Tyndmyr; 2011-08-22 at 12:27 AM.

Re: Tyndmyr's Creations - Long Live Mad Science!
Saved bits of story for next video game.
While enjoying a pleasant evening walk through the cool night air, a high pitched buzzing sound catches your attention. Glancing up into the sky, you see a giant disk, with three rings of lights around the base, spinning overhead. A ball of purple fire erupts from the side of the spacecraft, and it wobbles a bit before plunging violently into the trees nearby. The loud crash of impact reaches you with a vivid flash of light.
Do you..
Go investigate?
Report the incident to the police?
Contact a local reporter you know?
Run away. Tell no one what you saw.
11:
You cautiously poke your way through the woods, managing to only put your foot into a pool of water once while following the smoking furrow and downed trees carved by the crashing saucer. As you get close, you peer through the dense clouds of smoke kicked up around the final resting point and see the immense saucer lying on the ground. Part of the side has been shredded away, leaving a huge gash in the side of the hull nearest you. Through the new hole, you can see movement inside. The smoke clears slightly for an instant, and you get a glimpse of a humanoid form, lying on the metal deck, one arm reaching slowly upward.
Do you...
Walk forward, saying "I come in peace"?
Kill!
Hide in the woods, and wait?
Run away, run away!
111:
You walk forward slowly and confidently to the crater's edge, clearly saying "Greetings, Aliens! I come in peace! Welcome to earth!". There is a slight pause as a bulbous head twitches around to stare balefully in your direction with it's six eyes, before responding with a loud "Gr'th'al'klyk!". Oh, and it looks like he's pointing that shiny silver ray gun in your direction.
Do you...
Kill! Strike with the vengance of a thousand dying suns!
Hold hands above your head, palms toward him, and walk slowly forward, not talking at all.
Bow down, and slowly, slowly back away.
Run like you just stole his alien wallet.Last edited by Tyndmyr; 2011-08-29 at 05:01 PM.
