Lawful first in all of those because how many plants are really "Lawful"? A Lawful plant would be fun to see.

On the first, I feel like CE is just too overdone.

On the second, it was sort of a tie, but it's nice to have a CN plant.

On the last, too many nature-y creatures are CG. Elves and Fey out the wazoo, for example. I want something very atypical.

Lawful last in all cases since I don't think of plants, especially of the swarm variety (swarm screams chaotic to my mind) as being lawful. I do think though that there is large amount of neutrality at play as well though, which I think is fitting.

Overall, I think CN is the best fit. I dislike the idea of this plant being good but prefer a good alignment to a lawful one. CE is too common in my mind, so while it trumps lawful good (the worst alignment for this creature IMO), that isn't saying much.

Should really be neutral imo, it's a plant after all, despite being an intelligent one. Chaotic makes sense to a point, especially considering it's a swarm

I don't much like the idea of a plant swarm being lawful (except LE would be truly funny, and possibly quite scary), but it's certainly better than being good, which in my mind would be next to impossible for a plant since it's a very subjective idea which has little to no relevance to plantlife. Plenty of parasitic plants, plenty of opportunist ones too, and ones which choke out competition, so evil is still a good fit.

I direct you to a personal favorite of mine, "Leiningen versus the Ants". The aforementioned ants are decidedly a swarm (and a vicious one at that), and decidedly not chaotic - heck, they're even described as a highly structured military force.

Match 1: Lawful Good and Chaotic Evil are too absolute for anything really fun to come out, in my opinion, so TN wins with LG slightly beating CE just because I'm sick of CE baddies

Match 2: Lawful Evil would be a blast to watch what with the intelligent swarm thing going on. Chaotic Neutral is always a blast so cool, and neutral good seems boring for a monster.

Match 3: Chaotic Good could make for interesting party interactions. Neutral evil makes for a good baddie while lawful neutral is just dull unless you're a cleric of St. Cuthbert with spontaneous cures and destruction domain. (Read as, Dr. Pain)
