"I'm ready to go!" Zee declares! "Cosmo! I'm going to go on an adventure!"

"Swell," the gnome mumbles in reply as he sweeps the crumbs off a table and onto the floor.

Suddenly two! Zees!

"Okay, so I'll stay here and man the counter-"

"-while I go beat up zombies," and off she goes!

Yay!

The remaining Zee heads over to Kara, leans down over the lil' wyrmling, and kisses her on the forehead. "Psst. Hey Kara, wake up. I fixed some breakfast for you!"

[Beans]

Alamar nods to the diver suited recruiter and leaves.

Kara starts a little before looking up to Zee.
The little dragon gives a yawn and stretches out her tail and wings, before slowly uncurling the rest of her body.

The entire process is almost cat-like and rather cute.
"Mm...morning...thank you Zee."
Her little eyes look for the food, the itch of just-woke-up hunger prodding at her belly.

[Morty]

Viima padded over to Kara, whose smell she seems to recognize, but the shape is unfamiliar. Of course, the little dragon is now being held by the woman whose smell is incredibly scary, so the wolf backs away.

[Rebonack]

Less held and more just being near.

Breakfast in this case is a plate of scrambled eggs, honied bamhacon, and some nice steaming hash-browns. Cooked just enough to be crunchy on the outside without losing that soft yumminess on the inside.

Mmmm...

Zee isn't sure whether or not dragons like potatoes.

Though they're omnivores if she recalls correctly. In the very literal sense of the word. Some of them eat rocks.

Zee smiles back pleasantly. "If you want any more of something," she begins whilst sliding over a glass of llamanaide. "Just ask, okay? And I'll fix it up for you."

She figures Kara could use some tender love and care right now. Poor lil' critter has been through a lot.

Reinholdt's attention is somewhat distracted by the wounded Magbot though.
He steps over.
"Are you... are you alright?" He asks.

The Magbot blinks. It could've sworn it had been pierced by an arrow a moment ago. Odd.

"I...I think so."

Wait. Someone actually caring about the welfare of a Magbot? Has that ever happened before? Who is this devilishly handsome and oddly familiar-looking fellow and what's his sinister yet inexplicably attractive plan?

"I know you from somewhere though, don't I?"

[Warpfire]

A plotclone of Jacob steps into the tavern, puffing on a cigar. He glances around the room before he heads over to the bar.

"Whiskey, please."

[Reinholdt]

"I cannot kill, nor affect anothers thoughts or emotions. Other than that, if it is in my power, it shall be done."

Reinholdt totally takes note. It's important to know these things.
But his wish is going to wait until a bit later.
He'll probably end up getting to forget those stupid psychomorphic artifacts after all!

"Reinholdt, Treasure Hunter Extraordinaire." Reinholdt gives his flourish.

"You're... a Magbot, aren't you?" He's a bit surprised a surprisingly attractive magbot doesn't know him. Some sort of sexy spy?

Jacob is provided with whiskey!

It's made of fermented wheat and stuff.

Yay.

"Here you are sir, enjoy!" Zee bubbles in her ever-cheerful tone. "If you need anything else just ask okay?"

Like a new hat.

Everyone could always use a new hat.

New hats are the best.

With that task done Zee begins cleaning off the counter! Go Zee go!

Hmm...

When her back is turned one might be able to spot what looks like a tendril stuck between her shoulder blades, roughly as big around as a human's forearm. It extends back maybe two feet or so before simply stopping. The way the thing is moving suggests that it's much longer, just not visible.

Crissellea Lachoneus, a somewhat pale, sickly looking woman, walks into the tavern and looks around. She then carefully walks over and sits down at a table with very graceful movements.

[Chaotic Bob]

Tender love and care would certainly be a good thing for Kara.
Might even make her feel better about finally going back to Inari's.
Still a horribly nervous thing, but...slightly more comfortable with it.

For now, she has a delicious-looking breakfast to deal with.
"Okay, I will."
And now for the greatest compliment she can give: she begins carefully, but hungrily devouring the meal.
It appears the little concern over the potatoes is completely unnecessary, since she sets into those fairly quickly after consuming the eggs.

Bamhacon is left for last, so she can take her time with it.
Because that stuff's delicious and deserves savoring.

The little wyrmling sees Viima over there and gives a little clawed wave, certainly recognizing her.
Big fuzzy and cozy wolf!

[Morty]

Now that the terrible-smelling person is away and the dragonling is waving, Viima pads over to Kara again and sniffs at her.
Meanwhile, Dipsnig the grumpy-looking goblin is still at the bar. Drinking something green and foamy.

[Warpfire]

"Thanks, Zee," Jacob says as he digs out the payment, then adds with a smile, "But don't call me 'sir'. Reminds me too much of the old days."

The archer raises an eyebrow at the odd tendril.

"Your weirdness is showing."

Jacob then glances down the bar at Dipsnig. He eyes the goblin for a moment, looking as if he's trying to figure something out.

[Halae]

In the rafters the cupid is watching the magbot and reinholdt with glee. He was peeved with himself for missing, but this had turned out way better than he had ever begun to hope!


In through the doorway, though, comes a young goblin girl. She's about the goblin equivalent of sixteen years old and is wearing a brown sun dress - she likes earthy colors like brown and green. They suit her.

Lisor heard that Trog's was a nice place to go to meet people. Problem is, he doesn't yet know anybody here, and months as a slave have left her timid. So she latches onto the one thing familiar to her; there's a goblin at the bar. Goblins are friendly to other goblins, right?

"Er, hi." she says to Dipsnig. She's just standing at this point, waiting for Dipsnig to respond, "I didn't think there were any other goblins in the city."

[Morty]

Dipsnig notices Jacob looking at him; he turns around to say something... but then his attention is captured by another goblin who just walked up to him. A lady goblin, at that.
Oh no, there's a bunch of us around here. Most have left to Underside, though. I don't think I've seen you around here, however.

[Halae]

Lisor nods, "That's what Reelshka told me, too. We haven't seen each other before because I am new - been staying at GLoG for the past couple months after the people from WATCHTOWER busted the slave caravan I'd been captured by." she still hasn't taken a seat, just looking at Dipsnig still.

[ApeofLight]

Crissellea looks around and decides to go and sit at the bar. " May I get some water please? " She asks whoever is tending the bar at the moment.

[Morty]

Dipsnig's eyes narrow. Ah, yes. I've heard about that. I'm glad the slavers got what they deserved. He really hates slavery, as do most goblins from his homeworld. Do take a seat. I'm Dipsnig Razortooth, by the way.

[Rebonack]

Zee is quite pleased that Kara is enjoying the noms!

Hopefully that will help her not go insane and begin swording people. Because that would be pretty darn terrible.

The whoever is tending the bar at the moment would be Zee. And a glass of water is fetched. "There you are!"

...and then weirdness is mentioned.

Zee blinks.

Then begins feeling around on her back. As soon as she makes contact with the tendril she immediately blushes. "Oh! I, uuh... Sorry about that!"

Much sheepish grinning follows as she begins trying to readjust her position so that the unsightly limb isn't obvious.

The 'Zee' working behind the counter is, of course, just one tiny piece of the Far Chimera extended onto the material plane. Gotta be something connecting her to the rest of the beasty, right?

[Chaotic Bob]

That would be terrible. Especially since the closest people to Kara are all people she's rather fond of.
Like Viima!

She scoots a little closer to the edge of the bar-top and slices off a bit of her bamhacon, holding it out to the big wolf.
The little child wyrm will happily share with the cuddly wolf.

Even if Dipsnig never wants Viima called that. >.>

[Halae]

It's a fairly safe bet that Lisor hates slavers too. "I heard some sort of Empire Remnant got them. I hope they all die." She gets up onto the stool beside Dipsnig and orders a Xorn Zinfandel. She doesn't know what it is, but she saw the name and thought it sounded cool.

[Zefir]

Fade stands up. he concentrates and his shadow changes into a female human. In his hands cluster blue mana and after a few secounds it dissapears giving him the ability to fly. He will then fly up to the rafters to the cerub.

"Hey. What are these arrows doing?"

[Morty]

Dipsnig nods. I'm not sure how big the Remnant is on death penalty. But some of the slavers probably died when WATCHTOWER caught up with them, so that's fine.

The big cuddly wolf happily wolfs down the bamhacon and tries to lick the friendly generous wyrmling.

[Halae]

Lisor nods, but doesn't say anything. She feels guilty for wishing someone dead, even if they desperately deserved it. She'll just sip her drink, really.

the cupid looks at fade... and then moves to another rafter. He doesn't like dealing with people in person! D=

"How could the situation g€t any wors€?" Marv says, shrugging.

Des raises an eyebrow when his master and the Magtok start talking with each other. Then smirks. He can see the love magic effecting them both, but as previously mentioned, has no ability to affect such emotions, even if they are artificial. Not that he would help them if he could, no, this is far, far too funny.

[Warpfire]

Jacob looks away from Dipsnig and nods to himself, then turns to Zee.

"Hey, doesn't bother me. Just thought I'd mention it since you said last time we talked you're trying to seem normal."

Jacob takes another look around and notices Crissellea taking a seat at the bar. He looks her up and down, not bothering to be subtle.

"Hi there, I'm Jacob," he introduces himself, a crooked smile on his face.

[Beans]

"How could the situation g€t any wors€?" Marv says, shrugging.

Never, ever say that. It guarantees stuff will get worse!

[Morty]

So, you're living at GLoG now, right? I'm told there's another goblin there... one of the people in charge, in fact. That would make two goblins on leadership positions in the Nexus.
