I don't know. I have a small hunch that Serrin will leave the opera house in a huff.

This is a town full of humans, so I'm assuming that the playwrights are also humans. From my perspective, it appears that the humans tend to worship the "original" pantheons, like the Elemental Giants, Astrid, and Fate/Fortune/Twist. They might not completely understand the story around elven god Isarus, resulting in a story with several key facts bent out of shape. Or, they might not take those religions very seriously, resulting in a comedy making fun of Isarus that would seriously insult any elves in the audience. But, again, considering this is a human town, the playwrights wouldn't have anything to worry about under normal circumstances.

Or, this opera could be completely historically accurate and we will get some valuable insight into a religion that doesn't involve Astrid. Who knows?

I especially liked the part where they all went quiet and their eyes got wide - it made me think that someone had just died or something - and then it's shown that their surprise was about someone casting a ridiculous amount of wards. I laughed out loud at that, but it also says a bit about the culture of a world where magic exists and is Serious Business.

Heh, well it's all up to interpretation. I left out a text panel by mistake, which shows what happens when I'm trying to finish a comic at 1 AM. I'll fix it up later tonight, along with the typo.
