Natalie's word choice is often rather verbose, eclectic and eccentric. Her father was an English teacher, after all.

"Yes, a wooden cabin like those ones over there only much smaller and in a tree." In Natalie's world, the fey live in a seperate demi-plane and generally only visit the mortal world at the solstices and full moons. So she doesn't immediately put 'tree person' to 'dryad' and therefore with 'tree'.

Cherry Cabin

The statue is a foot high and depicts a pretty woman in a toga and holding an umbrella above her head. It's ivory, but harder than stone. It's also real; not illusionary or anything like that. It is, however, magic; it causes rain in a small area so long as it is vertical and resting on a hard surface.

Salix gives the weird formerly naked guy a weird look. He seems weird. *nodnod*

"Oh, okay. These cabins are sorta weird. No leave, no sky, and no grass. I think I like sleeping in the trees better." Salix says matter of factly. She may have decided to wear clothes, but there are some lines she won't cross.

Natalie was conveniently facing the other way whilst he lacked clothing.

"I think I know what you mean, but it's safer in a cabin. Predators can't get in. Although, I don't think that's a problem you'd have." What with being part tree and everything. Natalie also is OK; I don't think there's wild monkeys near GLoG so there's nothing around to eat any monkeys which arrive. At least not immediately, anyway.

And I tend to be suspicious of anything and anyone connected to AMEN, since they attacked us once more or less for fun. They're on the Council of Inside now, but that doesn't make them any less like superpowered bullies. Anyway, since Doctor Burnett recommended this place to you, I suppose you're not dangerous. Go to the Main Cabil and fill a form. There's some people who focus on redemption programs here, you should get to meet one of them soon enough.

Butler waits for Sophie to say something! He showed her the statue and everything. But she said it wasn't hers. It was pretty though, so he can understand why she wanted to see it.

Well, it's definetly magical. It's the reason for the rain above the cabin. I have no idea how or why it ended up there, though.

Well it makes sense, but Butler can't see the point. Magic was weiiiiiird. Butler didn't much care for it.

"Yeah, animals never give me any trouble. They're really friendly. Like my friend Buster." Presumably Salix has had limited encounters with the Nexus' more... colourful creatures.

It's all OK until a Catachan Devil wanders into the woodland.

"Who's Buster?" Natalie sounds curious, whilst I think a better question may have been 'What's Buster?'.

Butler's Room

As soon as it's picked up, the rain stops. And it's very useful; put it in a field during a drought, and the plants get water. Put it in a desert, and it's an oasis. An ability like the one the statue has is one that depends on the climate of the area it's built; a similar statue that made it sunny would be really popular over here.

Dryads also have the amazing ability to escape danger. Being able to jump through trees to any other tree they know is useful. And they have to be able to avoid danger like this. They have no parents to protect them.

"Buster's my best friend. He's a little brown bunny." Salix smiles widely.

The combined assault by pretty much everyone at the wedding deals enormous damage to the gazebo, as the structure wobbles and groans. Flames dance about the entirety of its frame, causing the wood to crackle and pop like some sort of enormous, demonic campfire. Lord Gazebo's eye continues to glare directly at Emily while she approaches, even as it is pressed up against the roof and removed from existence with a soft pop. The abomination appears to have given up movement at this point, judging its current host as too damaged and unstable to perform any crazy maneuvers. It instead endures the others' attacks for as long as possible as its targets approach. The screaming voices go silent as a low rumble begins to build deep within the gazebo.

Wide eyes, she blinks once or twice, slowly, the sunglasses vanished.
"...that hurt." she says, somewhere between furious and surprised.

She starts walking calmly TOWARDS the gazebo. She doesn't attack yet, but she does dodge if it attacks her, until she stands UNDER the canopy.

This may not be the wisest course of action. As soon as Emily takes a step underneath the canopy, the gazebo lurches forward and collapses, intent on bringing the entirety of its burning form down upon her head. The wreckage falls with a velocity entirely unwarranted by simple gravity, coming down with enough force to create craters wherever it impacts. There's also that whole "fire" thing to worry about.

Megan dashed towards Emily, her master had told her to protect her. She rushed toward her. Whether she made it in time to her side is up to Emily, because then she creates a sphere around them, blocking out all damage.

The scream hadn't done any permanent damage, maybe some PTSD, but it scared her a lot. After a bit, she gets up and turns to see the gazebo lurch forward...

And the name Buster actually comes from a plush rabbit I had as a kid. >.>

Don't worry, I wouldn't eat Buster. Stuffing tastes bad.

"How long have you known him?" Natalie remembered the term 'friend', rather than 'pet', and is beginning to suspect Salix is some kind of tree-druid.

Sometimes a real rabbit visits our back garden; it's safe from foxes and badgers, we tend not to mow our grass and mum has left carrots out for rabbits before. Unfortunately, foxes and badgers would be chased off by our dog, who is over-friendly and declares his wish to be friends with any animal he sees loudly, excitedly and vigourously. Most animals find that intimidating.
