Wedding Site / Gazebo Fight

((So sorry for the incredibly late conclusion! ))

Oh, hell no. Rae thinks, and for a second, well, actually significantly less than a second, Rae moves at nearly the speed of light. There's another person rushing to help Em, and Andy is still under the canopy too, hell, Em could probably even protect herself, moving this fast is probably gonna cause a sonic boom. He doesn't care. He should be able to get under the canopy with plenty of time to spare, as he throws up his hands to try to catch the canopy. No constructs, just his arms, pushing up with as much power as he can put behind himself. That snap probably wasn't good. "Hey, Em, remember that ring I gave you? Not the engagement ring, but the one that's like mine but more crystally and pink? Yeah, could you put it on? I've got an idea. But you probably have a plan too, and if you wanna just do that, that's fine." Rae says, his voice straining a bit.

Rae will find that holding the entire roof in just his hands to be an incredibly difficult task, as it begins to collapse into individual chunks of wood and plaster. That sonic boom that he just produced certainly didn't help the structure retain its solidity. There's also the whole matter of fire that still needs to be accounted for.

Luckily for Rae, the actions of his comrades make the task of holding the canopy a non-issue.

Oh my!
Emily is fortunate to have had a plan here... for as she reaches underneath, she gathers a large amount of power, points up at the gazebo, and blasts a tremendous gale of wind towards it, hopefully launching it HIGH into the sky!

It's possible there will be nothing left for Rae to catch.
As both Quinn and Jamie direct their sonic blast at the descending roof.
Intending to send it flying like a giant Frisbee into the distance!

The combination of both attacks certainly has an effect on the collapsing canopy, though it's probably not the effect either party was expecting. Instead of launching it in a solid piece in any direction, the combined force wholly breaks the roof apart and sends burning pieces of wood and shingles flying in all directions. That will be a pain to clean up.

What remains of the gazebo's base and support structure collapses in on itself as the building's animation leaves it entirely. It pops and crackles, now nothing more than a particularly expensive bonfire.

Reelshka undeadtimes and sets out to search for Irene.

Irene can be found floating out by the lake!

Reelshka approaches the ghost nymph, waving and clutching a notepad to her chest. Hi Irene! I have news about your charity fair idea.

Huh... That was a bit anticlimactic. Rae figured this thing would have had to have been defeated with the power of love or something. Oh well. With the danger averted, his clothes shift back to the suit that he was wearing for the wedding, and he surveys the damage... Alright, lots of small flaming rubble... could be bad, but nothing that wouldn't be put out by, say, a light rain. Hmm... The cake seems to have made it out okay... But the rest of the food was knocked over. Oh, and his left arm is broken, but that's nothing special. Overall... Not the worst wedding he's been to. He looks down at Em and smiles. "Well, that was fun."

Andy doesn't think like Rae after he has digged himself out of the Gazeboo's remains. Still he is cursing himself for acting this way. On the other hand he may have cause a distraction or anything simular.

After he got out he noticed that the wound caused by the AMEN attack a while ago is open again. Must have had happened the moment the gazeboo hit him. He will still walk away to the cabins holding his stormach with one hand.

Zero walks around GLoG trying to find Sophie. Valaira could still be following Zero if she wanted to.

Rae smiles wider hearing her laugh, and puts his unbroken arm around her. "So... Is it time for cake now? You should know, considering how much experience you have with weddings." Rae's teasing her! Things are normal!

Andy, Meanwhile, is cut off by a god in a suit! "You know, Andy, it's sort of rude to leave a wedding before the bride and groom. Especially as the best man." Holt says, conversationally. "If you're worried about your bleeding stomach, well, there is a paladin here. And Em. Heck, even I could patch you up relatively easily, probably." And Holt shrugs!

"Well... My cake senses are tingling, so I think it's cake time, which means that the actual wedding stuff is over. But still, cake!" Crae says happily. "I'm sure Rae'll understand getting lost. I remember this one time in Ankh Morpork... well, actually that was my fault, but whatever."

Crae shrugs. "Long story short, he ended up owing a lot of money to the Seamstress's guild." And then a little blonde girl with wings in a blue dress walks up and tugs on his sleeve.

"Uncle Crae, who's the little girl that's bigger than me? I met miss Claire before, but I don't think I've ever met her." She asks.

"Oh, that's Char. She's cool. Char, this is Rae's little sister Saera." Introductions!

Saera shakes her head! "No, I've been here for... Four and a half months, I think. But one of those I was stuck in a big goopy monster thingy." Saera's wings flap idly as she speaks, as always. Crae follows Claire, because cake is the entire reason he's here!

"Oh, that reminds me. Should I heal your arm?" asks Emily, tilting her head.

"Hmm... Nah. It'll heal up in a week or two, and It might remind me to not rush into things so fast, especially when you have a plan," Rae says, as they arrive at the cake. "Just need to get Crae to make me a cast or something when all of this is done." He looks down at the knife. "We're supposed to cut the first piece together or something, right?"

She is five, and her name is pronounced exactly like the normal name Sarah. Rae's parents apparently just really like having ae in names. "Yeah, that stuff! That's what Bro called it!" Saera nods energetically. "... And what's PACK? Is it a store? Or, like, some kind of park or something?"
