Eyepatch made a beeline straight for the exit and promptly got collared by the guards. Hero has played one too many Final Fantasy games and assumes that the heroes equipment is in an unlocked chest in a room right next door to the cell.

It's not like princesses have much of a choice in the matter usually... thus, an high-level adventurer should be marginally better than the incompetent and slightly perverted heir-apparent of the neighbouring kingdom, as clichè demads it. Or not?

Well, taking into account that many, many characters take Charisma as their dump stat, and that many are either tanks with big muscles but abyssally low Wis and Int, or Wizards with awful physical stats (they look like wimps), and that PCs often behave like sociopaths...

...Well, there is a good chance that the princess will marry a half-orc barbarian with the mental stats of an Ooze, or a wizard with the looks of an starved skeleton, either of them with the charm and personality of a dead dog and the morals of a serial killers.

She could be lucky, and end marrying a paladin, or a good sorcerer or bard with high Cha.
