Human Aliens
So what would you do if Aliens whom appear to be humans come and land in peace hoping to for trade and get Firefly back on the air a show on their planet (sorry I had to throw that in). They claim that the only known intelligent life are humans, and claim earth to be Eden as it's the only planet that has evidence of human evolution. Also how would governments and various culture respond?

Re: Human Aliens
Well, their story is full of holes, or else we've been seriously deluded.
There are humans voyaging elsewhere about the universe, and their population is great enough that commerce with Earth would be practical But humans have only evolved on Earth? Then they, themselves, must have come from Earth.
And an interstellar vessel being constructed on Earth and leaving undetected and having difficulty finding it again, especially with no other intelligent life forms, is very implausible.
Or else time travel or some other nonsensical shenanigans.
So where do they land? I suppose that has some impact on how/when/what (the) story gets onto the news. They'd probably be arrested, at the least. Depending on the spaceship, it could be dismissed as a hoax, or at least so explained to the public.
What would I do? Unless they came nearby, or I did encounter them, I'd be skeptical of the whole thing and not care too much.
Fun question.

Re: Human Aliens
Um...join up with our local sentai heroes to fight the source of all the universe's evil? No, seriously, this looks eerily like the plot of Power Rangers In Space.
"Reach down into your heart and you'll find many reasons to fight. Survival. Honor. Glory. But what about those who feel it's their duty to protect the innocent? There you'll find a warrior savage enough to match any dragon, and in the end, they'll retain what the others won't. Their humanity."
