Jack & Voytek - my new(ish) webcomic
Hey Playground, I've been writing a comic for a few months now that I finally decided to shamelessly plug here. It's called The Historically Accurate Adventures of Jack & Voytek.
It's based on the real-life personas of Jack Churchill, a British commando in WW2 who fought with a broadsword and longbow (really) and Voytek the Soldier Bear, who was a bear trained by a Polish regiment to carry artillery shells and eventually was enlisted as a private (really).
The story is a fictional account of these historical figures teaming up to fight the Nazis together in what can best be described as the halfway point between Saving Private Ryan and Calvin and Hobbes.
