Aurea follows Reinholdt out, calling over her shoulder to Tiff. We are going to fetch our associate and will return quickly.

Will, so far as I know, is still standing where they left him.

Liz makes eyes at Rein as he departs, openly ogling him. Too bad he's already taken...for now.

Speaking of which, Reinholdt and Aurea are doing a great job of acting like a couple! Keep it up!

Tiff is peering at Aurea curiously. She seems to become visibly alarmed when Rein and Aurea leave, but she takes no action to prevent them from going!

Peculiar critters, this golden dragon and catboy.

It's important to keep up appearances...?

They leave the village and return to Will's spot!

Reinholdt approaches Will. "Hey. So, we might have accommodations in the village. Only problem is, you fought with their leader shaman like person. Normally I'd just say wait here for the night, but it seems that something in the forest tends to attack at night and the torches in the village keep it away. We didn't check exactly what."

Aurea falls silent and engages in some introspection. Why was she so snippy with Reinholdt? He seems pleasant and professional enough. But she might be afraid of him, the world-destroyer.

"I take it you are able to communicate with them in some manner, then?"

[Reinholdt]

"Aurea is. I am not." Reinholdt states.

He's not scary. He's just a heavily armed, flaming hawt guy!
Which is scary.

"I would prefer that an intermediary not be required to relay my apology. Could you ask her to place a good store of their language into this, so that I can make a translation program?"

He holds up the datapad.

Aurea raises her hands and tries to cast the spell on both Will and Reinholdt, so they can understand and talk to the lizardfolk. Then she returns to her brooding. If she really feels threatened by him, she needs to present him with the information she has that will act as a deterrant. Let him know that messing with her will result in painful death.

Reinholdt would probably enjoy a painful death. Far more than other deaths anyways.

"I don't think our superpowers are all that compatible with technology, sorry."
They'll just have to deal with spells instead.

"I guess apologies are our best bet. She didn't seem horribly shaken up. Probably gets attacked in that forest plenty. Let's get back there before it's dark."
Reinholdt turns to lead the way back to the village.

The spell should work on Will, unless it doesn't. Up to you.

Aurea wordlessly follows Rein back. No, threatening him would show her fear and would be highly immature as well. She was a grown woman can deal with problems reasonably, without hiding behind her father. She would have to gain safety from the cat by being useful and friendly to him.

Will follows as well, likely trailing behind the two a bit.

The reptile-women are already lighting the torches around the camp when the group returns. It smells like a few fresh kills are roasting somewhere inside of the camp. The odor may cause a few members to begin watering at the mouth as the scent wafts toward their nostrils. Liz appears to be waiting for the group to return. She greets them as they approach.

"It's good to see you all again."

Liz smiles before fixing her eyes on Reinholdt.

"Especially you."

That's a very charming tone of voice you've got there, Liz. If I didn't know better, I'd say she was attracted to Rein or something, but we all know that'd just be silly.

"Umm... hi. I don't think I caught your name last time around." Reinholdt says, trying to keep things as formal as possible even as his face gets red again.

Percilia-prime and Mister C likely end up here in a nice, green, open-cabin jeep! Yay!

Green? Like Mr. C? Oo that mean he is nearly invisible. Maybe.

"So do we use a fire and make the same mistake the person befor did or do we have some better technologie tool to help us out?"

Liz smirks, attempting to move uncomfortable close to Reinholdt, possibly popping his space bubble and then some.

"Li'thieuna Igiliusin'nay Zekra'ckran. That is my name."

"But you can call me Liz or anything you want, really, Tiger."

Umm... I don't think Rein's "let's keep things formal" plan is working well...

"We're just not going to hold the scroll so close to the fire. That's probably the reason why this was burned. Accident."

"Unless you've got a better idea."

Percilia-prime states, springing out of the jeep and making her way over to the porch.

Reinholdt's personal space is extremely violated. Sadness.
He takes a step or two back, with that nervous smile.

"Right... umm... Liz, we were... about to have dinner, right? And talk about the temple?"

Oh, right, Aurea was supposed to keep Liz off of Rein. Should I play the part of your... girlfriend or do you have this under control? She asks him quietly in English.

Still sitting on her shoulder Mr.C follows.

"Maybe we place something between it, just to be save. I think metal or such would fit."

"I've, uh, got it covered for now thanks." Reinholdt replies quietly in common. He's not all that sure he'd be more comfortable pretending Aurea was his girlfriend.

Hopefully Liz will just lead them to dinner. There will probably be enough people at dinner that this won't happen as much.

Outside Curator

The wail of a siren fills the air, as an armored firetruck races down the road to CURATOR, a massive sheet of metal with burnt skeletons and rusty spikes welded onto it chained to the front. The firetruck careens wildly as it approaches the base, the driver obviously never having driven such vehicle in his life, and it shows no signs of slowing down as it approaches the archeological institute.

Unless someone stops it, the firetruck is going to crash right into CURATOR.

Liz chuckles mirthfully for a second! This one was surely a shy one!

"I have to make sure you unload all of your weapons that can be unloaded before I escort you to dinner. If you don't comply quickly enough, I may be forced to search your persons for concealed guns to unload myself."

Liz stares intently at Reinholdt as she states this, rather excitedly, in fact.

Umm... That firetruck is totally not out of place at all. Nope. It's probably full of firemen going...wine-tasting? I don't really know.

However, it is getting dangerously close to CURATOR HQ. It may suddenly find a bullet speeding toward's one of its front tires or a psychic ripple attempting to snap its treads because...

Percilia quits speaking as soon as she sights the firetruck rolling towards CURATOR HQ! Without hesitation, Percilia opens fire on crazy firetruck headed up the road!

"I told you we should have burned the bodies!"

Reinholdt decides to just rapidly unload his visible sniper rifle and hidden pistol, rather than launch into questions as to how such a primitive village knows about guns. Of course, he still has a belt knife, an animal skin shirt that turns him into a big tiger, and a bazillion hammer spaced weapons. But he figures unloading the hidden pistol he keeps on his person should be enough to satisfy her in terms of weaponry.

He offers Liz the ammo clips.

Reinholdt said that he had it covered, so Aurea just stays where she is. She has no weapons on her, if Liz really does care about security. Of course, she is a weapon, and a rather potent one at that. But they don't need to know.

"Well wait and see who it is befor suggesting it's them."

And he goes invis.

Will will give her his blaze, if she actually cares and wasn't just using that as a potential excuse to search Reinholdt.

Though pretty clearly that doesn't do much to disarm the thing with superhuman strength that's covered in spikes and armor.

Liz doesn't move to confiscate the ammunition. She only requested that the weapons be unloaded, not that they be surrendered. When beings are no longer sober, they generally are more lax when it comes to gun safety.

Guns aren't as uncommon here as one would surmise. In fact, guns are fairly commonplace! They aren't as advanced as the pieces Reinholdt and Will are carrying, but they are muzzle-loaded breech-firing projectile launchers.

Liz is visibly disappointed in Rein's response to her request. She reeeeally wanted to thoroughly search him!

"Alrighty then."

Liz smiles. Drat! Now she's going to have to find another excuse to get close to Rein!

"If you'll just follow me, we can head to dinner."

Liz turns about and walks deeper into the village without waiting for a response from any members of the relic-seeking group, hips swaying lasciviously as she does so.
