Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
No, Lex-Kat is not the best option of those proposed. Lex-Kat is a Gypsy, and that is all. All those who are trying to lynch the Gypsy should be considered suspicious.
The Gypsies are harmless, and only wish to survive. So please, leave us alone.

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
You gypsies come in and point fingers and blame at a red-blooded Parisian and long standing member of the community. The Baron may not be mobile, but his honor will be avenged!
Helping others is a good and noble cause, but sometimes the best way you can help them is by lending them a sword and telling them to go slay their own damned dragons.

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
No, I think you have the wrong Gypsy. I pointed at Lamech and asked him a simple question. Which, I will add, he did not answer.
Oops. Upon looking again, it appears as a statement, not a question. Oh well. I'm still just a Gypsy. A harmless, not a Vampire or Werewolf, Gypsy.

Narrator Note: With voting being somewhat sluggish, and a number of players encountering or recovering from computer problems, I am going to extend the voting phase until Friday afternoon to give people with sporadic access right now a little more time to get their votes in.

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
Why is everyone voting for gypsies? Are you guys trying to make them forge an alliance with the bad guys? Or do we like wasting a day with senseless voting?

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
What are you talking about? What is bladescape after? What is this masterplan he spoke of? Who are you? Where do you come from? What is the answer to life, the universe and everything?
I need an emoticon of a very scared, almost crying little girl. Preferably crawling in a corner with his teddy. Or running to her mother. Or hiding under his bed.

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
Lamech to continue the 'L' votes. Plus lynching gypsies seems counterproductive. Do one of the factions have a victory condition where they need to take them out maybe?

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
Gerard strode through the streets with a sly smile. His research had been fruitful, indeed. He passed by the Opera House, gazing longingly at the grand doors. If things went as planned, he would soon pass through them.
He was so distracted by his thoughts that he bumped into Diva De. "Excusez-moi, mon cher," he mumbled as he helped her to her feet.

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
Since there is no vampire, werewolf or general "bad guys" faction they should be possible to recruit as gypsies, as long as they don't belong in an other faction. There might even be some on the gypsies little list of recruitment.
So claiming that gypsies are more harmless than others seem quite strange.
Or have I read the rules in a strange way?

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
I hardly see how there a better choice than any of the other factions, or an unaligned. Also they make a great place for vampires to hide. "Oh I voted to save him because he was a gypsie with me." Plus they can inflict conditions on people, which is never a good thing.

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
If a vampire infects one of the gypsies, then it wouldn't take much to ensure lynching of all of them - especially as we all know the whole membership. On the other hand, I don't see much point in lynching gypsies unless we're suspecting them of being vampires.
Well, unless you belong to another membership that dislikes the gypsies.SpoilerThank you to zimmerwald1915 for the Gustave avatar.

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
This night in Paris, it seems there is a new fashion; today it seems fashionabe to make exception of the egregarious, to shun the sanderous ones unfortunate to be born under the nomencature of right anges.
Forthwith, the nobes did cry out for the aboishment of any and a uses of the broken inverted T-square; and as guided by the nobes, so did the peope foow suit.
The fingering was furious and extended; without forfeit or surcease; none who bore the proscribed aphabeta escaped its stigma.
amentaby, it coud not end we. The crowd demanded a scapegoat for these crimes of the twefth etter. Surey injustice woud be done this day; but it remained to be seen whose neck woud bear the burden of this courtess itigation.
Henceforth, by Imperia procaimation, no use nor succor shoud be granted, nor even eniency in the sightest. Not even signs and postings were to be eft unmoested, until the nightfa true.
In concusion; ex-kat was found guity of being too much the representative of the forbidden symboigy, and was hanged by the neck unti dead.
Lex-kat was hung. She was no vampire.
