Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
Murska for jumping to conclusions.
And ignoring the fact that there are a great MANY factions in this game. To boil it down to a pure 50% shows me that he's hoping to get rid of me via lynch. Which implies to me that he's a vampire.

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
However, factions would have, with plenty of luck, perhaps 4-5 people at this point. Unlikely to be enough to polarize the entire game between two candidates only, with no reasoning for either of them. Especially when considering the fact that my faction no longer has anyone but me left alive.
Of course, it's also unlikely that a faction's members will actually protect someone in their faction from lynch - the game is about hunting vampires after all.

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
Aside from me, there are six people voting for you. If there were only three people in a faction with me, then that means three people thought lynching you (just a villager who now admits to more) was a better idea than lynching me. I can see at least three people who would do that looking through the votes. Fleeing Coward tops the list.
The idea that someone in a faction would not protect others in their faction is ludicrous in this blind game of secrets.
Nah. You're just trying to get rid of an analyst who likes to look your way frequently.Last edited by Reinholdt; 2011-09-21 at 12:14 PM.

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
*shrug* I didn't protect Lamech. Didn't vote for him either, of course, but that's kind of a given.
However, people keep telling me that other people are telling them to not vote for you and ensure I'm in the lead. Maybe your faction would protect you, but I doubt multiple other factions would bother - if you aren't a Vampire, the nightkills will be headed to those protecting you on the assumption that they're Masons.

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
I don't particularly know about any back room dealings going on today in or against my name.
But seeing as how vampires are blind in this game and it would be total suicide for vampires to be protecting someone in such a way as PMing for the purpose of lynch control, I'm reasonably sure that provides evidence against me being vampire.

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
Blind as bats?
Reinholdt.
---
The new contact had not materialized yesterday when M. Tsofu had visited the halls of wines. But that had not been unexpected, he had not expected anything to happen for a week at the least. So he had begun a bit of research of his own.
Being an apothecary was to his advantage when it came to the supernatural since you had to have at least a fleeting knowledge of their curative properties. Werewolves had regenerative properties, probably tied to their transformation, so they were notoriously hard to kill. Except if you confronted them with silver.
And that was part of the problem, if he wanted to study these abilities he'd have to do it without silver since that stopped the regenerative effect. But if he couldn't kill it how was he going to study it?
The answer came to him suddenly, so simple he wondered why he hadn't thought of it directly.
Drugs, poison, wolfsbane and mistletoe. Either of them would do the trick if he managed to get the werewolf to ingest them, then he could keep it caged and under control by providing drugged food. Unfortunately since it was part wolf it wouldn't be an easy task to get it to eat the first dose.
M. Tsofu sighed and frowned slightly, there was nothing like an easy solution to this problem was there?
As he continued to scratch his chin and leaf through his papers a leaflet regarding a newly discovered poison, curare, from l'Amérique du Sud lay momentarily unnoticed beneath a paperweight.

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
LeLoup Arvène was sitting in the parlor. He was in his wolfen form, with an undersized top hat perched upon his head. A shaking TigerFang sat before him.
''I'm telling you, sir, I didn't do it!'' yelped TigerFang.
''Didn't do what?'' replied the wolf, grinning at his prey. ''I haven't even accused you of anything yet.''
The boy shook his head, without answering.
The wolf chuckled. As he arched his back, sticking his muzzle int othe face of the boy, he heard a scuffle outside.
Murska, a man known for having the temperament of a wolf and the slyness of a fox stood outside, fists raised. He couldn't help but like the guy. As he was about to turn back to his latest catch, he noticed the second participant. Reinholdt, a scrawny lad with which he had an alliance. He couldn't let an ally go down like this, regardless of what the Man in the Shadows had said.
The wolf crashed through the glass window of the parlor and leapt upon Murska, savagely tearing into his flesh with his teeth and claws.Bienvenue Au Kébec !!!

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you change your vote, strikethrough your original vote - do not edit the old post and replace the vote you put there. This affects how ties are determined and therefore I want one uniform practice to be used from this point forward. REPEAT: If you change your vote, strikethrough your original vote - do not just replace it with the new name.

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
The people of Paris stand hotly divided on a critical topic - which is more of a nuisance to public decency - the legendary wiles of the garçon de minou ... or the lurking presence of the globe oculaire flamboyant de garçon. The arguments are heated in the extreme, leading to fisticuffs in the salons and worse in the port bars.
The gendarmes are called in to break up these gauche affairs; but restoring order is difficult without arresting large numbers of otherwise reasonable Parisians who are now feeling under siege from within and without.
In the end, to appease the bloodthristy crowds, both figures are detained. After much politicking and gauging of the crowds, they are put up upon a weighted device with two nooses. The lever is pulled ... the piercing gaze of globe oculaire flamboyant de garçon proves to be a far heavier burden and his body lurches downward, ending with the sound of his neck snapping while the garçon de minou is propelled into the air by the sudden upward momentum, flying quickly out of sight.
He comes down in a haywagon some three blocks away, stunned but still alive.
Murska was lynched. He was not a vampire. Night begins - actions will be accepted for 48 hours (realistically however, until notice is put up that the deadline has passed in thread you can send in night actions.)
Night Event: Revel à la galerie d'art
Spoiler
In order to lift the spirits of the people, l'Emperuer has declared a labor-free day; and will be hosting fabulous parties where notable artists will present their works for sponsorship.
His Imperial Majesty requests that his people provide judges and contestants both; judges must not come from an organization of note (read faction) as this might unfairly sway the assessment process. Five judges are required and will be voted for in Green during the first part of the night phase. A judge must nominate themselves [Edit: Use Lime for nominations], keeping in mind the restriction above; but once they do so, anyone may vote for them.
For excluding themselves from the competition, the selected judges will be given a token of L'Emperuer's favor at daybreak. (See Scavenger Hunt results for what tokens can do).
Those not judging will needs must decide amongst themselves how they will accede L'Emperuer's request - all forms of art and entertainment shall be permitted, keeping in mind only that vous vidéo de tube has not been invented yet. The competition shall run into the next day and judgement given at the next nightfall.
Event Type: Social
Event Length: One full night and day cycle, final results posted the following nightfall.
