But occasionally, I like breaking with tradition. Not often, but sometimes.

No, we haven't had a formal week yet, I've been waiting for that one for a while. I think it's because last year's gender bender week turned into a party towards the end.

Personally I'd like to see Dragon Week, Formal Wear Week and either Running Away Week or Celestial Week, but I'm not sure which.

Nope that's from Genderbender week, I think you actually have two formal wear versions from that (EDIT: One from work week and one from genderbent.)

No, sadly monocle awesome suffers from inverted awesome levels when you add more.

This results in one monocle looking awesome and two or more looking silly.

But it certainly will bisect it and create numerous parallel realities, some of which WILL get destroyed if it happens again.

One contact lens and a monocle. Or you could have an eye with slightly better vision, buy two contact lenses with same measurements and calculate the monocle to supplement the more lacking one.

I'm averse to the idea of contact lenses. But, yes, one of my eyes is significantly worse than the other.
But still, placing something on the surface of my eye... It just makes me shudder inside.

Agreed. But I'll change the idea slightly so those with hyperopia, astigmatism, etc. can participate.
Therefore, alongside Formalwear Week, I nominate Poor Eyesight Week.

You know, we could just go for formalwear week, and finish it off with an official masquerade ball... I reckon that could work (although we might want in that case to extend it to ten/eleven days, to give time for the increased workload, and let the masqueatars make an impact)...

Not sure what to go for in terms of new submissions (most of my usual ideas have already been nominated, and as I recall nominations don't need seconding)
