Default Only the blind may see: The Blind Monk [3.5e] (WIP, PEACH)

    The Blind Monk

"Only the blind man can truly see.-Hadoon Makachi

Very few people would dare ever give up their eyes, or dare lose them in battle. Too bad few realize the true power of a blind man. When the sense of sight fails them, their supernatural senses didn't. In fact, they increased their Ki, also know as supernatural senses. These senses truly provide more than sight. Having discovered these amazing abilities, they walk down the path of the Blind Monk, in an attempt to push these senses to their limits. Many fell off the trail in the process. But a selected few continued down the path. They are known as the Blind Monks.

Adventures: Blind Monks adventure to further strengthen their Ki abilities. They also believe slaying fiends, rescuing innocents and stealing from the rich and giving to the poor is the Path of the Blind Monk. They also adventure to spread the word of the supernatural senses and their superiority to the regular senses.

Characteristics: Blind Monks are more Mystical Monks. They use Ki to power themselves beyond the point of average warrior and into the realm of the supernatural. They are quite agile and can be seen leaping around the battlefield, striking down upon foes.

Alignment: Due to The Path of the Blind Monk, Blind Monks tend to adhere to the law, but this is not required, it merely turns the The Path of the Blind Monk from a Foot Hill to a Mountain to forgo law, however.

Religion: Blind Monks tend to either not care about religion, or to rely on it. More Evil Monks veer to Gruumsh, because of his eye. Kinder and Good monks tend to worship Pelor, as they believe the light blinded him.

Background: Blind Monks that were born blind were more often than not raised in Monasteries and Orphanages, and Blinds Monks that had their condition afflicted come from many backgrounds.

Races: Any race can yield a Blind Monk, but Humans and surprisingly Orcs produce the most.

Other Classes: Blind Monks get along fine with other classes. However, fighters, barbarians, rangers, and sometimes monks are often pitied for their inability to use their supernatural powers for more than swinging their swords.

    Game Rule Information
Abilities: Dexterity is The Blind Monk most important stat, as it powers his attacks and agility. Wisdom is his second most important stat, as it powers much of his class features. Constitution is his third most important stat, because it determines his ability to take hits. Intelligence is his fourth, because the Blind Monk has a decent list of skills. Charisma and Strength are of little to no use to the Blind Monk.
Alignment: Blind Monks veer towards Lawful Alignments, but can be of any Alignment.
