Successfully performing this less than stunning feat of balance will indeed earn Tom a few points with Percilia. Percilia is quite light, so Tom shouldn't have any considerable difficulties in carrying Percilia upstairs. Not until she shifts her weight around a little bit about midway up the staircase, anyway.

Aaagh.

Thomas tries his best to keep moving forward, biting his lip and praying that he can maintain his center of gravity at least until they get all the way up. Then he can safely put her down, tumble backwards if that's what fate's decided for him, and break his back without anyone else getting hurt in the process. That's totally a humble enough request for the gods/fate to grant, right?

Oddly enough, it is. Maybe even too humble, because instead of falling to his doom, he makes it all the way to the bed, before unceremoniously tossing her right onto the mattress. Blagh. Had he the strength to put her down gently, he might've, but maybe he'll win more points with the silly option instead!

"Heck, the Exaltation doesn't even need to have been corrupted. No Exaltation filters morality- a Solar Exalted can be a monster quite easily. Just look at Desus.

Not exclusive to Solar Exalted, sure, but still..."

And then there's the Great Curse, but Zamira doesn't know about that... and Shrike's immune now anyway.

"Quite so. We were lucky."
Shrike smiles, reaching across to take Zamira's hand and squeeze it.

Fettina's Suite

Provided they've sat back down, then possibly. Tina looks between the Exalts a little confusedly. "I think I'll stick to the whole human thing, then. Suddenly seems a lot more fun." She smiles. "But I'm glad for you two. At least you don't have to worry."

Evan looks... pensive at the moment. For the most part, he's sorta just zoning out, staring off into space and thinking. Bet he'd jump if someone poked him.

[Iyalla's apartment]

Iyalla and Susan will arrive here shortly after leaving Trog's. Not much went on while they were walking beyond if Susan drummed up a conversation.

Iyalla's home is fairly bare. The walls are colored yellow, and there appears to be only three different rooms; the washroom, the bedroom, and the living room, which has a kitchenette in the corner.

"Now," Iyalla says, "What of these lines do you see what you look at me? Point them out without touching them." Iyalla has the same number of these lines as any other person might, of course.

Aeryn chuckles and snuggles up against Mike's side.
"Lead the way, handsome husband of mine," she whispers, smiling up at him.

Mike hooks his arm around Erin, and they vanish in a bamf of smoke.

"You can keep that kinda fun to yourself." Tina says neutrally, glancing at Evan. He seems to be spacing out. To correct that, Tina throws someone's underwear at him. She got it off the floor, so... "Hey! Go get us more pudding."

[Halae]

Fettina's Suite

The underwear will catch on one of his horns, and Evan looks over in surprise, then rolls his eyes and stands up, smiling, "Yes, my lady!" and marches off to the kitchen to make some more pudding. It should be about fifteen minutes.

The underwear is still on his horn. He hasn't bothered to take it off

[Iyalla's Apartment]

"Good, you can see where all the lines are if you're focusing." She then points to her bedroom door, which is closed, "Break down the door with your fist"

Susan gives her a flat look. "I've tried this before, I specifically need to cut along lines. I imagine I'd have to stab a point, just touching or even applying force doesn't work for me."

Zamira grins absentmindedly. "Well, I can always have fun involving shapeshifting..."

[Halae]

[Iyalla's Apartment]

"Good, then you know your limitations," Iyalla says, "What other things have you found yourself unable to do?"

[horngeek]

"Well... I can't see points on anything that isn't living. Lines, yes. But not points. Haven't really tried it out beyond that..."

[Halae]

[Iyalla's Apartment]

The other woman nods, and then goes to the center of the barren living room, pushing the coffee table out of the way so she has room to work. Before she does, however, she takes a sheathed dagger out from her boot and tosses it to Susan, before beginning a ritual.

Susan will be able to feel some of the spiritual power that Iyalla bears press against her, before she extends her hand forward. A ball of energy rapidly expands, and then flashes. Where there was the ball of light previously, a creature stands. It's humanoid, with reddish scales covering its muscular body. Upon seeing Susan, it immediately gets into a ready stance, brandishing its claws.

"Now, I want you to kill the grendel."

[horngeek]

"What?"

Even though she's got these eyes... well, Susan is an 18-year old girl.

Not a bloodthirsty killer.

[Halae]

[Iyalla's Apartment]

And Iyalla is a 22 year old with a face that makes her look 16

"You heard me," Iyalla says, and then nods towards the creature. It takes a few steps forward menacingly. "It will attack if you do not stop it, you know."

[horngeek]

Susan looks stricken, but studies the grendel, picking out a point of death... and running forwards and trying to stab it.

[Halae]

[Iyalla's Apartment]

The grendel will simply move out of the way of Susan's admittedly clumsy attack, seeing as she likely has no practical experience with combat. Of course, that's also going to hurt when the big scaly creature throws a punch towards her shoulder. It's purposefully taking it easy on her, so it's not nearly bone force it could likely muster if it was really trying, but it's still going to hurt. Instructional pain, not debilitating injuries.

Susan gets punched, and staggers from the blow!

A follow up is not made. The blow was instructional, not meant to create an opening for a beating. The grendel takes a few steps back, waiting for Susan to initiate another attack

The underwear will catch on one of his horns, and Evan looks over in surprise, then rolls his eyes and stands up, smiling, "Yes, my lady!" and marches off to the kitchen to make some more pudding. It should be about fifteen minutes.

Since Kirk seems to be done with me." Though Tina glances at Evan when she says this. Hm...

"I blame Shrike."

This is said after the bit about 'most perverted women', not the rest of it.

Maybe do a training skip? It's unlikely Susan will get any good blows in this fight.

Shrike sticks her tontue out at Zamira, before giving Fettina a wink.
"Well, I'll be happy to visit whenever you'd like," she offers.

Eep! A giggling Percilia is bounces onto the bed as Thomas releases her from his firm grasp! She eyes Tom for a moment before winking at him jovially.

What's on your mind, Percilia? ... Really? You're kidding me, right? You're not going to-

"Sneak attack!"

Percilia attempts to forcefully yank Tom onto the bed!

"You want something to eat hun? I got you a buffalo..."
He went into one of the rooms quickly and came back with a large adult buffalo. It seems he turned a room into a sort of zoo.

When Dave returns, he'll likely catch sight of Clarissa bounding onto the couch!

"Twee bwee!"

She exclaims before lunging at the television remote without care for either life or limb. She sails a good two feet over her mark, plunging to the ground, slipping across the floor in a fantastic tailspin, sliding under a heavy bookcase/cabinet on the other side of the room, and crashing into the wall with a loud thud.

That can't be healthy for the already broken Clarissa.

Especially when any pictures on the wall fall to the ground, one likely landing with a squish as it leisurely topples onto Clarissa's body.

Dave facepalms and looks at the buffalo for help.
The buffalo is averting its eyes from the situation.
"Oh really? After all I've done for you? Thanks a lot, Chester."
He goes over to Clarissa.
"Hun, please pull yourself together. Did you at least get the food you wanted for the cruise?"

Food? Nope. Clarissa didn't get any food. She was too busy being attacked by a snake that tampered with her mind and (from her perspective) forced her to curtain with him and then a Necron which zapped the previously mentioned enemy with an advanced disintegration ray!

Clarissa responds from her position beneath the bookcase with an obvious lack of vigor or enthusiasm, to say the least.

"Gnow. I wass bleat ap an coortained."

The good thing is that Clarissa won't need to eat much while recovering. It's an odd little quirk of her's but useful nonetheless.

Dave plopped down on the couch and the buffalo rested against his legs.
"I can't believe it..."
Dave didn't like being cheated on. The last girl who cheated on him he killed.
"Wait...did you consent to it?"
If she was raped he was going to call in the few favors he had at Umbrella to kill the guy in the MOST PAINFUL WAY POSSIBLE.

I wouldn't use such a strong word to describe what happened, but from Clarissa's perspective, that relates the hideous event just about right.

"I deedn't halve mooch choic in tha meter. Loost deed."

Yep! You guessed it! Clarissa is basically seven different beings crammed into one shell! That's exactly why she refers to different aspects of herself using the names of the seven cardinal sins!

"Tha frool treed to eet mee! Stoopid freek!"

Hopefully, Clarissa's voice will normalize momentarily. It's probably annoying the heck out of Dave.

Dave is now pissed. All he heard was that she had no choice, and that made his mind clamp down on rape and hold it fast like a beartrap.
"What. Did. He. Look. Like." Dave said slowly, trying to keep his anger in check.
And yes, he was getting annoyedby her speech but has accepted it.

"He looked like a snake-thingy with a light-gun."

Clarissa nonchalantly replies from her position underneath the heavy bookcase. Clarissa's voice is already back to normal! Yay!

"He was wrecked by a robot."

That ought make David feel just a teeny bit better about this situation, right?
