We didn't play test this at all
first, I am not 100% certain this thread would go here and apologize if it doesn't.
We didn't play test this at all is an actual game. It's a card game that's pretty crazy. It involves defending against dragons by disbelieving them and being restricted from saying the word "you". The problem is it involves multiple players and I haven't really found anyone else to play with, so I wanted to try and bring it here.
For those that know of this game, for it being brought here in a way that works, we'd need a form of GM. It would probably be best if I was that GM the first time around. The GM would have to have a fair way to decide who gets what cards and would receive something such as who threw what in a rock/paper/scissors battle and such through PM. (Yes, there's a RPS battle sometimes.)
The basic rules are simple. Everyone starts with 2 cards in their hand. Who goes first is chosen randomly and it goes clockwise from there. (There will have to be a virtual seating.) You take a turn by drawing a card, then playing a card and doing what it says. You win by either playing a card that causes you to win, or by being the last one in the game. Obviously, when you lose, you are no longer in the game. There's too many ways to lose to have a common way. There are other rules, but they're explained as they are applied.
I would also like player to inform others of the following at the end of each turn:
-How many cards you have
-How many star cards you have. (These are special cards, and they do stick out from common cards in the actual game, on purpose.)
-What cards are in front of you.(Not to be confused with the cards in your hand.)
-How many points you have. (Optional)(Some cards give you points. 15 points and you win, though this actually doesn't happen often.)
To those that do know of this game, note that other than "nose" and "no pointing" all cards in "We didn't play test this at all" and "We didn't play test this either" (expansion pack) will be used, so be ready for chaos. Also, to everyone, though this my sound unimportant, anything you type in this thread will count as something you said, with the exception of card titles as you announce that you played that card. That is the only exception though, so keep that in mind, as believe it or not, that's very important.
This game goes up to 10 players. The more players the better.
Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Re: We didn't play test this at all
Well, I'm intrigued. So what's the deal with the restricted word? And why do the other words we say matter? Can we get a list of the cards or are we going into this blind?

Re: We didn't play test this at all
Yeah, Fluxx is fun but makes too much sense. Thus once I combined it and a game called Lunch Money to create the game Fluxx Money. Somehow....it managed to function (with a good deal of hilarity).

I have a friend with this game, though we haven't sat down to play it yet. I would like to join in a game here if one is going to start here.

Re: We didn't play test this at all
Well, this sounds like an awesome game. I don't suppose the rules and stuff would be available anywhere, right? If they are anywhere (or I manage to find this, but this is unlikely, I think) and the game wouldn't start until next week (I have a busy week now) I'd like to try this out.

Re: We didn't play test this at all
Ok, first, saying you doesn't auto matically cause defeat. There is a card that restricts use of this word. Also, after looking over my decks, I'm starting to believe I lost some of my cards, though they seem to be cards that are common, such as bombs. Anyways, I suppose I can explain some of the cards, but not now as the deck is not with me. Keep in mind this game can be very unfair, though not likely, the first to go may win on their first turn.
@ GrayMage: The basic rules are explained in my first post. Additional rules are explained as they are applied.

Re: We didn't play test this at all
Well, due to number of cards, I think it's best that I stick with the rules and only take 10 people, and the most fair way I can think is the first ten to post interest which are as follows.
Ramsus
Lemonus
erikun
Bladscape
cd4
TigerFang
The Grimmace
Duneyrr
Gray Mage
NinjaXeq
The list is now updated.
If one of these people decides they don't wish to play this game, they will be taken off the list and the next in line will be added. Otherwise, this is who will play this game. To the others, if it cheers you up, this game isn't incredibly long and you will probably get a chance to sign up for a game in the future. If nothing else, this is a good chance to spectate and learn how the game goes.
For 2 reasons, one being Gray Mage has a busy week, the other being mine's kind of busy too, we shall start on Monday. Note that what you see before you is the list of players and not necessarily the turn order. I will decide that later, and randomly.

I should probably withdraw as well; I have a tendency to drag games I don't understand to a screaming halt, so I should probably watch it first.

Re: We didn't play test this at all
The rules confuse me, and it sounds like a game where the great RNG might want sacrifices. Sound interesting, I will keep an eye on this.

Re: We didn't play test this at all
Ok turn order is now decided. The order is:
1.The Grimance
2.cd4
3.NinjaXeq
4.Lemonus
5.Gray Mage
6.Bladscape
7.TigerFang
8.Duneyrr
9.erikun
10.Ramsus
I will now give out the cards, if stars are around the card's title, they are not part of the actual title, that just means it's a star card. I will give them in reverse turn order so Grmance, you may start as soon as you get your cards. Note that some cards can be played as interrupts, (they can't unless they say "play anytime") so if I take a minute to do something I'm obligated to do, that may be because I'm waiting to see if someone is going to play such a card.
Cards have been dealt. Everyone should have 2 cards except Grimance who has three because it's his turn. LET THE GAME BEGIN!!!
Also, each of these players have one star card.
Ramsus
Bladescape
cd4

Re: We didn't play test this at all
The rest of the card's effect isn't supposed to be explained until later, that's part of the fun. Seriously, that's how the card works.
...By narrator, he means me BTW. Also, you have to PM me too Grimance.
So, here's who chose what.
1.The Grimance (Scissors)
2.cd4 (Rock)
3.NinjaXeq (Paper)
4.Lemonus (Paper)
5.Gray Mage (Paper)
6.Bladscape (Scissors)
7.TigerFang (Scissors)
8.Duneyrr (Paper)
9.erikun (Paper)
10.Ramsus (Rock)
I'd let Grimance explain normally, but because he isn't here, I'll explain it. Everyone who chose Paper loses.

Re: We didn't play test this at all
I play Meteor in Front of Ramsus
Meteor
-----------
Place in front of any other player.
If this card is in front of you at the end of your turn, a meteor falls on your head.
Luckily, it is large enough to also fall on the player that goes before or after you (your choice). You both lose.
