Re: Questionable Content 4: Attack of the 60-Inch AnthroPC
Oh god, this is going to turn into an "i cant let you do that dave" type of scenario, I just know it. Station is attracted to hanners, hanners will refuse for whatever reason, and now the hunter killer droids finally have something to do. KILL ALL HUMANS!

Re: Questionable Content 4: Attack of the 60-Inch AnthroPC
THAT could have gone better.
Poor Station.
Is there something about being in space that gets people's and AIs' hormones going?

It's the Love Boat -- IN SPAAAACE! Except without any happy endings.
I hope Station gets a chance to make his case more aggressively on Monday, although I don't think he's going to break the streak.

I know it was some time ago in the thread, but I want everyone to remember that I said it first:
AIs began as Rampant H-games.
My theory gets stronger by the submission.

What makes this double creepy is Station is practically her brother in a lot of ways.
Poor Hanners, I'm not surprised at her reaction. Those eyes though. . .

I swear, if Jeff uses this as an excuse to send her into a relapse...
Okay. I'll still read it. But with a grumpy expression.

Re: Questionable Content 4: Attack of the 60-Inch AnthroPC
Oh dear, this is getting difficult. Station REALLY wants her to stay, and is pulling emotional strings right and left. However, he's also being selfish and short-sighted; being on Earth is obviously helping Hannelore tremendously, and keeping her there may be essential to her development. I hope she can find a way to make him see that without hurting his feelings too much...

Some flash backs to Hanners past are kind of interesting. Poor Station. Yes, it's a little creepy, but he is lonely.

I don't care; I don't like him.
He's lonely while keeping constant company to 128 people at once, plus of course a constant Internet access to chat with other people and other AIs. Oh boohoo.Hark! An avatar drawn by Kate Beaton!

Yeah, because being away from someone you care about, even when there is lots of other people to be with, never hurts.
I'm not saying he isn't creepy, and his social skills could definitely use work (Trying to buy off sexual harassment, seriously Station?), but I can empathize with his point of view here.

Then that just makes him one of these creepy stalkers who can't move on after they lost "their" girl. This only makes me like him even less.

Re: Questionable Content 4: Attack of the 60-Inch AnthroPC
I can imagine how lonely Station might get - sure, he's running a space station full of people, but it's pretty obvious most of them just think of him as Station - useful, and possibly a prankster. Hanners might have been the first human being to actually relate to him as a friend, in addition to being a puzzle to work out. It's only natural to act that way when the only person you've been friends with all your life moves away to another place and you can't visit.

Re: Questionable Content 4: Attack of the 60-Inch AnthroPC
Y'know, this is the first time I've ever read a comic and really felt the need to run to this thread. Wow. That's really interesting.
Guess who's good at avatars? Thormag. That's who.
