Minor note: If you want to appear in the story, just post saying you want in. I'll put you in somehow or another. I won't turn anyone away. Additionally, you must let me know what sort of paladin crystal power you want to have. Also, give 4 back-up powers as well. I got this story planned out quite far and I need to have some things to fall back on. Also, if your account name is something that sounds like a fancy commercial product (Which is very likely) or some long or weird name, could you please come up with a nickname version that sounds like it could be a real name. I'd like to keep this story as real sounding as possible and the first way to do that is to start with everyone's names.

However, you're not limited to only being a paladin. If you want to be someone else, I have an entire list of non-paladin positions that need to be filled up.

Nil stared in awe as the figure landed softly on the ground.
"How on earth?!"
He then noticed the rope dangling from the floor the dark figure jumped from. This put him slightly at ease.
"Well... at least he's not magical."

"If he were to suddenly become magical, that would be some terrible news on our part. But it was foolish to come here, right when we're still looking for him."

Nil turned to look at Blue. He was suprised to see the usually round yellow circles have been cut off at the top half and slanted horizontally. It looked like the wizard was showing a merciless gaze upon the intruder.
"What do you mean?"

"Why that is none other than our most favorite assassin in the world, isn't that right Recaiden?"
He swung the tip of his staff around slightly and some blue orbs appeared from the level where the figure dropped off from.

Nil quickly turned back to him.
"What, Recaiden?! Here?!"
He paused for a moment.
"Is it at all wrong for me to be thinking that delivering Recaiden to Mordokai as a 'Welcome Home' gift instead of shock and concern?"

Blue held the staff up high.
"Not at all."
He then swung the staff down, causing the blue orbs to plummet to the ground in a blur of light.

Recaiden looked around frantically. Nothing was happening. Did it worked? Was he immune to the paladins' magic from their crystals? Some movement above him made him look up. The orbs of light were streaking straight at him at incredible speeds.
"Oh God Da-!"

He bent over, his arms covering his head, expecting to feel some solid mass or some electricity since that's what the orbs shot out. Instead, he hear the crumbling of rock as well as an explosion. He looked up to see the the earth behind him folded up to form a canopy of rock, protecting him from the orbs of light, which had collided with it instead. Recaiden stared transfixed at the layer of rock that floated above him.

Sarudark laughed at the sight of Recaiden.
"Lost for words, are you? Good to know this is how I do it."
Sarudark then quickly moves his chalk through the air, drawing a rune in mid-air.
"Esaurianus!"

Around Recaiden, the ground began to crumble and break. The rack began to rise and merge together. It twisted its way into a monstrous form as two red glowing lights appeared on what just shaped to be a head. The creature then rose and gave an almighty roar, challenging all who opposed it.

Underneath the creature, after coming to his senses, was Recaiden using its sudden appearance as a cover to escape. He put aside the anger he felt that the dark wizard was not entirely truthful when he gave him the pendant.

Paladin Academy: Chapter 2: Part 16

Nil stared at the monstrosity in horror. This giant thing that appeared was clearly some magical construct. There was no way Recaiden could have summoned this thing.

He turned quickly to Blue.
"What The Hell Is That?!"
The wizard's eyes were shaped into perfect circles of what Nil assumed was surprise.
"Never mind that now! How do we stop it?!"
Blue remained still as a statue as he stared at the rock creature as it surveyed all the paladins around it.
"Blue!"
The wizard still didn't move.
"Dammit! Useless Wizard!"
He quickly turned and ran in the most direct route that will take him down to the training grounds. Behind him, Blue continued to stand still as if the creature's arrival had turned him to stone.

Recaiden had managed to cross halfway across the training grounds before any paladin's had noticed he was still there. Most of the eyes were on the creature towering over them all.

The first one to notice was a paladin he was trying to make his way around. The paladin swung his sword, which he ducked under. He was passed him and continuing his reckless pace, only to have something hold him back. He nearly stumbled as he realized the paladin had grabbed the neck of his cloak. He turned quickly and punched the paladin in the face, only to draw back in pain as if punching a rock at full blow. He looked back up to see the paladin's face resembling a crystal. He noticed out of the corner of his eye that the hand gripping his cloak was also crystal.
"Fine! Take it!"

Recaiden twisted and managed to slide out of his cloak to continue running. He turned to see the paladin turn back into flesh and blood throwing his cloak away and continuing to pursue him. It was then that a shadow appeared over the paladin, accompanied shortly by the stone foot of the creature.

Recaiden turned and saw in that instance a paladin throw a bolt of lightning at him.

Sarudark celebrated happily as his construct stepped on a paladin.
"One down, Blue!"
He then froze for a moment. He checked again, but the creature's feeling told him that it stepped on something unusually hard. He then felt disappointment as he could sense some of the strange paladin magic emanating from under the creature's foot.
"Bah! Those stupid magic crystals."

Just then, he noticed another paladin focusing their magic into their palm.
"Oh, no, no, no."
He began inscribing on the orb with the runes fading away. The lightning was shot forth, only to impact a wall of rock. Shortly thereafter, a small fissure opened up under the paladin. Sarudark laughed in gleefulness at the chaos he had brought to the paladin's fortress. And this was only just the beginning.
"And there's nothing you can do to stop me Blue!"

Recaiden dodged around the fissure and the paladin hanging onto one of the edges. He looked around to see another paladin hurrying over to help their comrade up. Recaiden then turned, expecting to see the gate before him. Instead, a female paladin was standing in front of him, blocking his path. Behind her, the gate was closing rapidly.

Recaiden drew his knife and short sword.
"I don't have time for this! Get out of my way!"

The paladin drew her sword and placed a red crystal into its slot. Along the edge of the blade, flames began to coat around it. The paladin was staring maliciously at him.
"Its you... I know who you are."
Recaiden took a reflexive step back.
"You escaped from Grim. Made a mockery of him. But that's not going to happen to me. I will catch you in his name!"

Lix then gripped her sword tightly and charged straight at Recaiden. The fire on her sword roared angrily.

Paladin Academy: Chapter 2: Part 17

Recaiden took a step back. As threatening as an angry teenage paladin with a sword is, there was somthing else that made him extremely nervous. He barely side stepped the sword, feeling the heat as it slid past him. He bared his teeth, knowing that the poison had a low boiling point. He was afraid that just blocking a single blow would evaporate all the poison on his sword and dagger.

He ducked under another blow then took a step back to dodge another. Each swing the paladin threw at him seemed to be just rage. There didn't seem to be any focus. She was just swinging wildly at him like an out of control wildfire. He took a hop back, raising his eyebrow. If she was this out of control, then it shouldn't be that hard to out perform her.

He waited for her to lunge, and when she did he quickly dodged, grabbing her wrists as he did. He then tried to bend her arms out of position. But suddenly, her skin was too hot to touch and he reluctantly let go. He then had to dodge another uncontrolled swing as he backed up. It was then that he realized he hadn't seen too many paladins with this much rage, only one before.
"So, what's eating at you? Why are you so angry?"

The paladin turned, sword held in both hands.
"Because you got away from him! You are the reason of what happened to him now!"

Recaiden stopped, remembering...

...Recaiden rolled across the floor before coming to a stop on all fours on the wooden floor. He looked up at the paladin before him, seeing the scratch he had made in the chest piece of the armor. He dared to smile, finally having a weapon to cut through their armor.

The paladin however reached slowly down his neck and pulled out what looked like a chain necklace with a small locket on the end. The paladin held the locket in his hand, a shocked, sadden look on his face.
"You... broke it..."
His hand closed slowly around the broken locket, anger suddenly showing on his face.
You broke it! You broke my locket! This was all I had of her!"
A dark cloud began to surround the paladin, becoming thicker than anything Recaiden had seen before.
"I'll kill you! I'll Kill You!..."

"I'LL KILL YOU!!"
The paladin swung as hard as she could at him. He didn't have enough time to dodge and was forced to block it with his sword with his whole body weight behind it. He winced as his sword went into a cloud of steam in an instant before every last drop of poison evaporated.

Now it was Recaiden's turn to get angry. Not only because of more poison lost, but because she was in league with the dark paladin long ago. He then twisted around her sword and managed to punch her in the face. The fire around her sword disappeared for just a moment before reigniting. Recaiden took it as his cue of what he had to do to press the advantage. His anger was cold, so he controlled it. The paladin's anger was hot, so it controlled her.

He waited for another blow before making his move. After dodging it one more time, he proceeded to hit her across the face again. As she turned back to face him, he swept his sword across her waist. While the sword didn't even cut the armor, the force caught her off balanced and she fell on all fours, her sword sliding out of her grasp. She quickly tried to get up, but he already plunged his dagger through her armor into her back. He then got up, looking at the girl who no doubt was reacting to the effects of the poison.

A sudden cry from above caused him to look up.
"Lix! No! Penny, quick! Grab her!"
Suddenly, what looked like a girl was flying towards him, though she was quite a distance away.

He looked down and kicked the dying paladin aside, before looking over at the large golem behind him causing devastation.
"You, golem! If your sarudark's creation that's here to protect me, then get me over this wall."
Beneath him, rock began to crumble. It was then that he was rapidly being elevated by a pillar of rock. The flying girl sped past below him heading towards the downed paladin below. Finally, the pillar stopped at the same height as the wall. He took a step forward.
"Not exactly what I had in mind, but not bad..."

"Well, here's another thing you probably won't have in mind..."
He look over to see yet another female paladin, drawing her sword. Though admittedly, this one was older than the others.
"...Getting captured! This is as far as you'll go!"

Recaiden gripped his dagger tighter. So be it. If he had to kill another paladin that was between him and freedom, he would gladly do it.

As a celebration for finishing my finals and going on break, I'm going to be updating this frequently so I can finally get this scene over. It will probably take a while to get the reader base back, so please, whoever is still checking this frequently, alert anyone you can think of that this thread is becoming active again!
