They guy is on a full defensive, but is still easily and predictably driven into a corner. It does not seem like he's noticing this, and Fade can scratch him a few times if he wants to.

The girl, however, is trying to decide whether to attack this new assailant or help her teammate.

Not bug! Myriapod! They're completely different- a bug is a type of insect (and a member of the second largest group thereof) and a myriapod is directly below arthropod making it equal in taxonomic rank to insect and therefore higher than bug! Hrmph.

"Yes, the Wikipede has prepared a copy of the alphabetical-by-category index ready for your perusal. It has also removed all articles in languages besides this one, as you likely cannot understand most of them and there's at least three you are incapable of understanding." That's the Wikipede he's looking at. That massive computer isn't just the index, it's also the ruler of this demiplane, progenitor of the Encyclopedes and the largest single depository of information in the known multiverse.

A small touch screen rises up from the ground in front of the massive computer, and the Encyclopede walks over to it. "This will give you a list of our information by subject. Pressing the name of the subject will leave you with an alphabetical list of sub-categories if applicable, and pressing one of those will leave you with the article titles in alphabetical order. Articles are books, chapters, or something stored on a holocron, memory crystal, or other medium." I think I'll let you decide what subjects he looks for and the information he finds; it's huge.

Reinholdt goes to sit down in front of the touch screen, pulling out a small notebook and a pencil to take notes. He's no beginner to research, but even this is staggering. Only thing to do is get started!

There's lots available, including magical subjects, technological ones, and scientific ones, all arranged in alphabetical order. Alchemy might be interesting; the Encyclopedes have the method of turning lead into gold, after all. Although, so is cartography; one of the maps likely shows where the Spring of Youth is. Gah! So much information!

Reinholdt doesn't even know how old he is anymore. Could be thirty, could be a hundred and fifty, for all he knows.

But he does know the general subjects he's researching, so stays focused on those. It'll just take time to sift through. So much time.

The cat is grabbed, the shadow dissapears as Ashley puts up conflicting light sources, and before the thing behind the desk can answer, said desk is knocked over on it by Jamie!

Harina is in the treetops, running and leaping through them like she's made for it, but otherwise is with the group.

I'm not sure about AP. Did Quinn ever remove the field? It wasn't mentioned in his last post, nor was his reaction to the mental barrier going down.

Will would probably do best on the front lines, but he'll be wherever he was told to go.

"That's the spirit Jamie! Attack random people! Get xp!" Praise from Vincent Jamie. You should be proud. Especially since they're already probably breaking into someone's cabin.

"But, uh, this is a cutscene I think (I hate cutsceneses), so try not to kill them."

Caroline grabs Mister Buttons II and hugs him, as Jamie hurls through the air, attacking randomly the person behind the desk. Jamie!! she calls out, startled.

Jamie was aiming for the person, not the desk, and therefore has the breath knocked out of her when she impacts the desk!
"Ooof!"
It only feels like several days pass before she scrambles to pull the desk off the person. "Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry!"

The desk is pulled off without difficulty. Beneath is a green-haired woman with mildly blue-tinged skin, wearing dark leather clothing, which looks almost tough enough to be considered armor.

"Apology accepted, I guess..."

Her tone is rather pained.

"Who are you, and do you feel like being knocked unconscious for the betterment of the world?" After all, as the main characters, the party usually ends up having to save the world in some manner.

She then steps to the woman, Mister Buttons II in her amrs. I'm sorry Miss..... Um, My friends and I were just surprised, as this room had been empty only a moment before.

My name is Caroline. And this is Vincent, Ashley, and Jamie. she says, acknowledging each in turn. Is this your cat?

Quinn, seeing that AP is still up, decides to use brute(mental) force(with his mind). A large telekinetic fist swings at AP, completely invisible, but distinctly existent. If AP gets hit, it'll be like a fist the size of himself punched him.

Ow. He's flung backwards, into the wreckage of his ship, and starts to stand.

She looks confused.

"Huh? As for what I was doing, I was sleeping."

Specifically, don't resist the sleep charm Quinn places on Apprentice-Pilot.

Fade makes a backstab to avoid the attack, but his moves got a bit clumsy as well. He tries to do a lunge at the now open defense of the troll leaving his own defence down.

The shadow continues shooting Fireballs for now. After all he only needs to keep her up for a bit. At best for another post.

Direct hit. The guy is stabbed, the sword goes clean through. He drops his chakrams and dies.

The girl, upon seeing this, doesn't bother countering the fireballs anymore. Instead, the fire licks up around her, obscuring her, and she disappears.

His last hit got him enougth poswer back to keep standing. But still there isn't a moment to rest. He will grap into his pocket revealing a bif sack for the stardust. Luckyly it didn't got hit.

he will go over to the star dust and grap as many as possible. The sword he used still stuck in the trolls body will soon fade away.
