And so the Encyclopede will take him to [Here]. It's a surprisingly short journey for a trip within this edifice, though the Encyclopede isn't trying to intrigue him with random subjects like they usually do. The bookshelves are slowly morphing into a form appropriate for the subject, though I don't know exactly what since I don't know the subject. There's lots of information for it available, however, and the Encyclopede supplies a memory crystal and a device for downloading books onto it.

"You make it all sound so simple but it's really hard just sending you here and back, I can't even understand how I do it with this brain! I just know it's hard." Libra's voice can be heard within the arena as she herself appears before Kate and Harnel dressed in her usual clothes.

"One fight to go and it looks like we won't have our end battle."

She turns briefly to Kate, "And I think your hilarious, don't worry."

Harnel just rolls his eyes, "How are the others doing anyways? how have the fights ended for the most part?"

Kate sighs, and looks away.

She waits. Not much more to do.

"Right, well, have you ever heard the story about the theft of the Brightheart and Nightheart?" It's Reinholdt's best PC story about another world that occurred on screen doesn't involve Kaela or Vulpania I believe.

Quinn flies over to Lord EtherAin.

"Okay, I have good news and bad news. Bad news? I'm pretty much out of magic. Good news? I can still fight. Where should I help the defense?"

Quinn looks...swashbuckling. Much more so than a faerie should be able to.

Lord EtherAin looked at the map spread out for a moment. "The covering fire group that shielded your retreat with the prisoner needs help to retreat back to the walls now." He replies.

Skirmish-Jakob's tree pile

For now I'll say that Jakob has surmounted the wall again, as if I remember correctly he had gone down to the pile of logs he had stacked up in my last post. In his hands a likely log sits, about as big around as a normal man. With a grin and a fierce cry of rage he swings it down at the shield bearing enemy, hoping to crush him under his own shield.

The shield buckles inwards, and the elfin fighter almost overbalances and falls over backwards, but the energy shield had disappated the blow enough that he didn't fall. Talking of which, that blow probably just destroyed the energy shield generator....

If given enough time, a small blade flickers out from behind the now extremely warped shield, looking to cut into the muscled figure of Jakob.

"Surrender accepted... bleh, your no fun at all. So do you want to be sent home now or maybe you like something in return for all this? Hm?" Libra's voice can be heard.

[Kate VS Harnel]

"Well... you just won. Everyone just surrendered or were plain boring. I had change someone just to entertain myself! It was that boring!" Libra exclaims, shaking her head in disapproval.

"But since everyone in your team won... I guess you completed the challenge. Unless you like to battle me anyway?" Libra looks at him with puppy eyes. "Pretty please? It would be sooo cool."

Harnel does an outright facepalm, "No, Libra. No more fighting. How would I have even fought you? That would have been entirely unfair."

"Aww... well, I would have turned into something awesome of course, no using my powers... just for the sake of a good challenge." Libra replies with a smile.

"So... if you don't want to do that... I guess you got an unclaimed price. What will it be?" The oni tilts her head curiously.

Kate simply watches. She hopes that Harnel will get what he wants... and that the crazy woman thing will leave him alone afterward.

And leave her alone, too. Don't want to go through that ever again.

Harnel thinks long and hard about this. It's a good few minutes before he finally decides on something, and he slowly looks at Libra, "Alright. I know you watch me, so you know that there's a few caves under the plot of land I bought for my home, right? there's something of a central chamber almost directly under where my tower is being built. Very large. I want that filled with stacked bars of workable adamantine, and a smithy beside my home where I have all the best quality tools I need to work the adamantine."

The oni blinks, "That's your wish? Are you sure about that? You don't want me to enlarge your wives boobs or something again? Or her boobs." She points at Kate. "I could do it."

Harnel gives Libra an entirely flat look, "I'm sure, Libra. Very sure."

Kate takes a step back, and a look of sheer repulsion crosses her face.

She is happy with her proportions. Especially the just-below-average proportions on her chest. They let her disappear into a crowd easily, and weird men do not approach her with poorly thought-out pick-up lines.

"No. I'm happy with my body."

Except for the part that she's a fragile human, but that does not need to be said.

"Hrm, fine, you'll get your stupid bars." She waves her hands and Harnel's wish will be fulfilled. "So was there anything else?"

Quinn salutes Lord EtherAin and 'ports away.

The members of the FeyClaw group firing at the EtherAin skirmish group should see a faerie pop into the middle of them. Unless they're blind. That would make it awfully hard to see him.

"Alright, this is your chance to flee in terror. Or awe. Or bewilderment. Or glee, I guess. It doesn't really matter how you flee, really, is my point. I'd just hate to kill you, and I'm out of non-lethal resources."

Throughout this speech, two purple hands are enacting it in sign language. Quinn doesn't discriminate while using intimidation tactics. Unless someone managed to wave off the general translator that seems to be everywhere in the Nexus. Or if they don't know language.

Quinn's intimidation is really not intimidating. At all.

Jacques grins as a small radiation symbol flares on the front of the currently loaded bullets. He didn't shoot, but these thermonuclear bullets are active.

What Versus Quinn

That...I don't think that last gourd joke even makes sense.

In any case, What swings and misses. He turns swiftly, in an attempt to change direction and come after Quinn a second time, when-SPLAT!

His crushed pumpkin head falls off his shoulders, knocked loose by the sudden change in direction, and breaking into little pieces upon contact with the ground.

He's still coming after Quinn, though. He raises up his hammer, suit still covered in flames, and...




...drops dead. His suit is ashes, and his head is in pieces all over the ground. Yep, he's dead alright.

Cessie let's out a sigh and lowers herself down at the ground, closing her eyes in a short prayer to Artaris.

What Versus Quinn

There is a loud yawn, "Mmm... guess you won then. Bye."

And unless Quinn protests, she will be send back to GloG. Without her bra.

Libra will appear a moment later holding said bra in her hand. "Ewww!" The oni throws it away in disgust and turns to the remains of What. "Don't worry, I thought you were more interesting then her anyway so you'll get a resurrection!"

"I wonder if I could pull off one of those 'jokes' before I do it though..." Libra looks thoughtful for a while, "Umm.... time to patch your squash? Let me gourd that jack in your lantern..." She stops herself and stares accusingly at the corpse. "This isn't easy you know?! Oh to heck with it, I'll just bring you back anyway."

The oni kneels down and touches the little that remains of what, bringing him back to the condition he was just before the fight (unless his player protests, then it can malfunction).

Quinn peers at the fallen What for a moment, blinking in surprise.

It can't be that easy, can it?

She's still thinking that at the moment she's teleported away.

Jakob sees the blade, and reaches out with one of his massive paws to attempt to catch it between two of his meaty fingers. Even if he pulls it off the sword will probably score a very good hit on his palm, but with the other hand he'll try another blow at the shield bearer, this one a bit lighter and more awkward, being one handed.

Alright, time for that wish. We need to be quick about this. Kirk mentally says to Libra. With any luck, Feia won't be watching. I need you to make me mortal. That means no ties to the Abyss or my summoner, and a proper physical body of my own. One that matches my form right now.

Molodai's hit by an arrow. She screeches in pain and ducks, perhaps figuring out what happened and not wanting it to happen again. A steady trickle of blood falls from her shoulder. Anger and fear bubbles up inside her.

Fast forward to the attack on the wall. Even as the swordsman straightens, he'll find himself set upon by the ravenous wildfae. She's fast, fast enough to get inside the reach of his sword.

Molodai's hungry. She'll go straight for his throat, if she can, claws trying to catch his arms and hold them down.

I'm a little confused as to whether the arenas are gone and everyone in the same place yet, or not. In either event, Charity doesn't see that anyone is wounded, so is simply staying close to Edijar.

Libra sigh as all the arena's suddenly are erased from existence like they never had been there. Leaving no trace at all.

"So... the fight is over. You won and everyone is sent home, Harnel got his wish, a bunch of stupid bars... I made them all human female breast shaped though. That'll teach him to make boring wishes, hmph."

She looks at the two. "So did you have any wishes in mind?"
