    Away from the bridge at the sick call, Thomas pulls one of his explosive mixtures from his belt and holds it ready. "If you're with the captain, go stand by him. If you're with us, go below and keep out of the way," he tells the surgeon.

    "Everyone else, you heard Jack - the captain steals from us all. Join us and receive your fair due! If you're too injured to fight get below and keep your heads down until I tell you otherwise."
    he tells the men in the sick call.

    "You had your chance to do this easy!" Thomas whispers as he slips the flaming reagent from his belt and rapidly combines it with the vial he was already carrying.

    With a shout, he hurls the vial at the helmsman, hoping to catch the captain and one of his loyalists in the blast.

    Seeking a bit of job security and seeing the blast of flame from Thomas' concoction he shook his head and as he came forward through the dog watch he drew his scimitar and pitched into a roll.

    "Take em alive if you can lads, if not put em down quick!"

    As the crew shows their true allegiance Claudia takes a quick step back and draws her pistol, calmly pointing it at the closest enemy.
    "Wrong choice, my friend. I'll see you in the afterlife."

    The gun goes off with a loud bang and once again the clear ocean air is filled with the stinging smell of black powder.

    Before any of the fighting spills across the deck, Jack has pulled his blade free from his scabbard, his eyes alight with fury.

    "Nash, this will be the end of your tale of horror and the day I earned my first ship!"

    Slashing with meticulous precision, Jack attempts to end the duel in the first few blows.

    Thomas' bomb strikes the hemlsman with an explosion that completely destroys him. The flames linger on the helm and the deck below his feet.

    Rory maneuvers into place with his quick footwork but the Chief Bosun quickly leaps out of the way, as one of the crewmen put himself between the two. The Bosun fires a pistol over the crewman's shoulder but misses his mark.

    The first swing of Jack's sword strikes Captain Nash and wounds him deeply. Captain Nash leaps over the rail and lands on the deck. He draws a pistol and fires it at Jack striking him in the shoulder.

    The crewmen all run to engage eachother on the deck and swords begin to clash. One swings at Rory and another at Claudia. Neither is able to hit their target.

    Pain flaring through Jack's shoulder, he looks at the bullet wound and then narrows his eyes towards Nash. Tightening his grip upon the hilt of his blade, Jack makes swift work of the crewman in front of him with a deadly slash.

    "Run while you can, Nash! You cowardly seacow! I'll deal with you yet!!"

    Thomas sees the blood leaking from Jack's shoulder, staining his shirt. Pulling another pair of vials from his belt, the alchemist swiftly mixes and shakes, as he dashes to Jack's side. There, he splashes the resultant liquid on the wound. Jack feels a sting, but the bleeding rapidly slows and the pain is lessened.

    Claudia fires at a crewman scoring a clean hit. Rory steps up to the chief bosun and wounds him with his scimitar. With a powerful swing of his katana, Jack slices the crewman in front of him in half. Thomas whips up a quick infusion and splashes it on Jack's gunshot wound. The liquid foams up and stings a great deal, but only briefly. It then forms a gooey seal as if the wound weren't there at all.

    Captain Nash steps back and pulls out the second of the six pistols holstered on his vest. He fires at Jack and strikes him again.

    The chief bosun steps back and levels his musket at Rory. His shot strikes one of Rory's ribs causing him great pain, but not damaging his fighting spirit.

    Grunting in pain the olive skinned man snarled and gritted his teeth. He glanced towards Claudia and saw the woman take a vicious burst of attacks from the Quartermaster and deftly moves in to even up the fight. His darting form seeming not to be afraid of the men before him.

    Cleaving through the crewman standing infront of him, Jack vaults over the railing to stand infront of Nash again. On his way, another of Nash's muskets spits fire and a searing pain runs up Jack's leg from his shin. Landing with knuckles white against the haft of his blade, Jack attempts to cutoff Nash's only avenues of escape with his bulk.

    "Nowhere left to run "Captain", are you willing to stand in fight like a man yet? Or are you going to run and die like the yellow-bellied scallywag you are?"

    Not letting the captain respond, Jack's blade flashes twice in succession at Nash's torso.
