Perhaps if we go with a "these are stereotypes used for the sake of humour" - in the same way that British people like me are 'posh', drink lots of tea and always carry an umbrella, and that Americans are all morbidly obese and wear stetsons all the time - we can just about get away with it.

Quite frankly, Mà3 is as much about about making fun of stereotypes - be they nerds, homosexuals, transsexuals, lesbians, the Canadian, the Japenese or whatever - as it is about silly innuendo and the sexual escapades of sociopaths....

Maybe. But making comments about separatists is the same as making comments about republicans or democrats or any other political sides of any country. It shouldn't fly on this forum.

"Wtf is a stetson?" was my first reaction. Writing down that line was my second. My third was to look up what a stetson hat is. My fourth reaction was to laugh at the idea of wearing a goofy looking hat like that. Ill stick to my glittery beany hat thanks. Way cooler.

But... if you don't wear a ten-gallon hat, nothing will distract from your one-foot-diameter silver belt buckle and white leather boots!

I'll now go back to yodeling* while making precision watches watches** and eating fondue***.

*Bloody hard to do right (unlike TV yodeling, which is just weird singing without words). I don't know anyone who can actually do it.
**Is actually an industry, but not that big, to be honest.
*** My theory in fondue is that it was invented solely to make tourists sick. It's a meal that consists only of molten cheese and copious amounts of alcohol. Don't like it much.

Eh, that doesn't even really count as Fondue. The word means "molten", so if there's no cheese involved, it's just boiled meat.

But yeah. I like meat fondue quite a lot. With oil or soup. But the original? It's a bowl of molten cheese and alcohol. Who thought that was a good idea?

The cheese fondue and the meat fondue, which doesn't involve cheese.

And they are both great idea during winter.

The only fondue I know of is melted cheese with bread dipped in it. Though everything tastes better with enough alcohol. And my belt buckle needs no attention taken away from it! i am very proud of my 6 inch wide by 8 inch tall representation of a carnival, complete with blinking lights and a ferris wheel that actually turns!

Although what kind of cheese and what kind of bread you use are really relevant to have the best experience.

For the cheese, I recommend to go to a real Fromagier (if you do live in Montreal, I recommend Fromagerie Hamel, in the Marche Atwater). I recommend asking for their "fondue mix". It's cheese selected and cut for melt optimally, and it's way better than any crap you might buy in ye average grocery store.

Since eating fondue alone is really sad, you will have someone with you. So it's a good idea to have a nice variety of breads and other stuff to dip into the cheese. I recommend Nut Bread, fresh Baguette and Barley Bread. Having fruits is also good for taste variety, I recommend apples and pears. Which is also recommended to help avoid the potential intestinal trouble

You often see people drinking white wine while eating Cheese Fondue. It's a trap! Cold white wine may be nice, but it's also likely to make you a bit nauseated. The best thing is usually warm tea.

The wine goes into the cheese. At least here in Switzerland. Clove of garlic, ag of grated Vacherin (Gruyère is acceptable too), bottle of white wine, heat to melting. Cherry brandy too, for some people who like a really strong fondue.

    You drink tea with it.

Foolish mortal! You don't know anything about Wine and Cheese yet. We are only teaching you the principles of an class Cheese Fondue that, made properly, will score points with anyone you are preparing it to. (Lactose Intolerant being the notable exceptions).

You are nowhere close to know something about Wine and Cheese, two domains considered a full-class knowledge hobby by many.

According to Wikipedia, the Cheese fondue are better served with a dry white wine from Swiss and not a sweet one.

My own south-westerner taste tend to sweet wine, though.

Chocolate fondue should be done with a medium dark chocolate, somewhere around 70%, with no additional additives and fresh fruit. I recommend bananas (those fresh, tiny ones, if you can get them. I recommend Thai shops), apples and apricots.

Choclate fondue I actually like, unlike cheese fondue.

Doing all of that with military precision, and to the strictest possible intepretation of the correct procedure.

So, how's about that comic, huh? Crazy stuff going on!

What do we think for the next part of the story - I'm thinking some sort of 'competition' between Zii and Didi?
The former tries to hide Gary and Kiley's relationship with Yuki long enough to get her out of the building and prevent everything from going to Hell, whereas the latter does everything she can to get them in as close proximity as possible so as to break up Gary/Kiley and Gary/Yuki and thus have him all to herself....

...Either that or, Gods forbid, a 4-way competition between Yuki, Kiley, Didi and a reemerged Sonya all competing for Gary's affection, a madcap free-for-all of some sort

    Oh my god.

This could be the comic's moment of growing the beard! It'll abandon all the lighthearted comedy, and turn into heart-breaking analysis of the conflicted feelings of a mental health patient who's just lost her love to her psychiatrist! She'll spiral into depression and psychosis, while Gary becomes guild-wrecked by the occasion and chooses to leave Kiley, who'll turn to drinking to forget how she ruined everything...

    ... or maybe not.

Maybe. I am actually still surprised that Gary seems to have dropped the butt-monkey hat, and Zii is actually behave good and helpful to him (or at least, she tries).
    I think it's a good improvement. The butt-monkey routine was over-used.

That would be awesome for Gary. Certainly frightening, but awesome.

There is still the possibility that it ends up in an actual "ménage à trois". With Yuki/Sonya (doubtful), Yuki/Kiley, Kiley/Didi, Didi/Yuki, etc...

    Yeah... I don't think so...
