Neutrality implies at least some semblance of a conscience. From what I've seen, Chez is nothing but a depraved, sociopathic monster, with absolutely no regard for anything or anyone but himself. He seems to subsist on nothing but sex and death, which is also probably why he doesn't make very many friends in the Nexus, as very few in their right mind would ever want to be anywhere near the business end of either of his two favorite hobbies.

Generally avoided, unless you're one of FF's or BR's kids.

* Time travel to a distant past / future should happen in a plot thread and not affect the non participating members of the plot.

* Time travelling your own character from their personal future or past to the present happens a lot, particularly for the purposes of getting to use the present-time infant in adult plots.

* Time travelling as a Nexus-wide plot ("Let's go back in time and make sure Magtok fails his first robotics class and goes into interpretive dance instead to see how that changes the Nexus") would be godmodding everyone in the Nexus. Unless you do it in a splinter thread with participating players only.

1) Definitely not. We've gotten through half a thread and a good few OOC weeks, it's been some time since Mallside opened.

2) Time travel in Nexus is very hard to work with due to the fact that time in Nexus is very vague, not much is (or can be) predetermined, and the story is played out in a linear manner. It has shown appearances, but generally only in ways that are part of someone's background (they're from the future or something) or as a heavily limited plot device, or other highly limited things. Any significant time travel powers will be too complex to work.

My opinion in general is, the less time travel there is, the better.

I'm pretty sure that any wolf acting like Chez would get rejected from a pack very quickly, if not killed.

He's not a wolf. He's a broken record with a grainy recording of a guy droning "Murder. Death. Murder. Sex. Death. Death murder. Sexy murder. Yelling." over and over.
Preferably in Ben Stein's voice, which is great for droning in.

From outside, this store appears to be a normal clothing shop, with the windows displaying samples of their merchandise.

However, upon entry, there are no complete clothes, only those in various stages of construction.

There are dressing rooms to the left and right. There is a door behind the counter, marked

If, however, one were to ignore this direction, and not be removed or killed by the security, you would find a large number of workrooms, each with a small pipe in the wall.

There is also a reinforced vault, and a sealed room.

The vault, naturally enough, contains what they've made, and is emptied daily. It has all of the standard security one would expect of a vault.

The sealed room, however, is lined with glass, filled with blood, and connected to the workrooms by the aforementioned pipes. Opening it triggers a distinctly non-silent alarm, and releases a wave of blood.

Behind the counter there is, depending on who happens to be free at the moment, either a female vampire with reddish-purple skin, and light blue hair, or a male vampire with blue-green skin, and dark green hair.

I asked because I was thinking about making an old guy, whose first scene would pretty much be him dying at Trog’s or somewhere then working my way back with him being in multiple places at the same time at different times in his time line. Would that be acceptable?

Should be, since it pretty much only affects your character and how he progresses. Will probably also be extremely difficult to pull off well, since he'd have his death scene before you know anything about how he progresses as a character through the social interactions he had in his past (your future). But if you can do it, more power to you!

The Duke Nukem explanation makes a lot of things make a whole lot more sense.

Well...

I have trouble taking the store seriously, and honestly, given that they sell living clothing that needs to be fed (probably something that should go into the description unless this has changed), I'm not sure they'll get a lot of business. I mean, it's a niche, creepy market. I see it more taking up space in the first post than anything.

If you really want to give it a try, I will put it into Mallside, but I'm not real hopeful about it, honestly.
