Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf V - The Horror Recuitment thread
Bladescape neglected to join with a rhyme?
Truly this is a terrible crime.
Especially seeing as how the theme
Is a musical one, it would seem.
Is this enough to lynch him day one?
Too early to say, either way, this game will be fun.Last edited by Zjoot; 2011-11-08 at 05:34 PM.

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf V - The Horror Recuitment thread
Oh, the horror quite so clear!
The Grimmace says I am to fear.
Or maybe, that a target I would be,
For that, surely he would wait and see?
Either way that the noose does fall,
I hope at the end I will stand tall."Trust bladescape, Shadow of Doubt,"

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf V - The Horror Recuitment thread
I got carried away, and long my rablings grew
so to save on space I have spoilered them for you.
SpoilerThere's no need to worry your little head
I wouldn't want one so eloquent dead
Besides, now you've atoned for your sin
The true fun of rhyming is likely to begin
And though I can't turn a phrase skillfully as you,
I think trying my hand at this is the best thing to do
In fact I think I'll spend the whole game talking in verse,
Weather it turns out for better or worse
And maybe, just maybe, into character I'll slip,
As we embark on our opera trip
But what to play? THe choices are far from a few,
Cast member, operagoer, or maybe stage crew?
The last time this tale was told, I recall
a stint in the orchestra before my untimely fall
I believe I was skilled with a violin
Is that a role I'd like to visit again?
Every tale needs a minstrel if it's to be told,
I may fill that position if I'm feeling quite bold.
I suppose I'll just have to wait and see,
Which role I decide most befitting of me.
But if one thing's for certain, and I think that it is,
It's that I've got a fun game ahead I I keep speaking like this.Last edited by Zjoot; 2011-11-08 at 07:17 PM.

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf V - The Horror Recuitment thread
Night falls on Paris, while the opera goes on in the Opera House. Down in the depths in the Opera House, a sign is painted in blood.
"Things never go well past this night. So now, this time, the night will not end."
After the opera is done, the audience leaves, but anytime a cast member or a member of the police tries to leave, they end up walking back inside. Then, someone notices a note.
Dear members of the Opera House,
You have noticed that you are all staying when you wished to go
Well, thanks to me, this night will not end,
Until what I want is given to me,
Prepare for more notes, for this Opera
I'll win!Avatar by Emperor Ing

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf V - The Horror Game thread
For
TBFProgrammera vote must be cast,
Of speakers of couplets I'll be first and the last.
But now into character I must go,
A young violinist sat observing the show,
Alas his prized violin had gone astray,
And it seemed he was not fated to perform that day,
Went to retrieve it, ended back where he began,
So he was stuck in the audience, watching the band.
Jealous of the usurper in his spot of first string,
And sure that the wretch was behind the whole thing!Last edited by Zjoot; 2011-11-15 at 11:19 PM.

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf V - The Horror Game thread
Lost in the rafters, a lone man walks,
He listens to actors, thinks they're just crocks.
"Why'd I join stage crew?" he wonders out loud,
"Couldn't I have just been part of the crowd?"
"It seems more magical to not see backstage,
Watching the play in this day and age."
In the darkness he couldn't see far,
"Who's that sneaking; is itCalar?"Last edited by Grue Bait; 2011-11-15 at 05:40 PM.

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf V - The Horror Game thread
Monseiur Terreur, a gentleman of standing,
Sat comfortably on the open seat upstairs,
He sat there, watching, waiting, even demanding,
That they bring on Christine, and take off the dancing pairs,
For there was one and only thing, that brought him back once more,
For only Christine's voice could charm his darkened door,
And, alas, too dark, too long,
A serpent's strike, a siren's song,
The shadows had claimed him long ago,
But recently free, freed by Christine's show,
For even the darkest of shadows know,
That sometimes good could win and crow,
For today, this gentleman stood to help the fair lass,
Helping her through the darknesses gathering mass,
For she meant far too much to him here,
To let her fall to the Phantom's fear.

Monsieur Harrau, a man bold and loud,
Sauntered to the box; of this seat he was proud.
He rubbed his sore temples, a frown on his chins,
Wondering which man committed which sins.
He'd heard all the stories, and read all the news,
Plopped in his seat; Well, he took up two.
"Bonsoir, Monsieur Terreur, good evening, my friend."

Terreur turned his head, looking around,
"Bonsoir, mon amie. What think you of their sound?"
He asked, looking curiously at the man,
For he could not place this one's clan,
Which noble house did this one belong?
And why did he come to this place of song?"Trust bladescape, Shadow of Doubt,"

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf V - The Horror Game thread
((We were never good at writing in verse, so instead we will write the story of a stage hand. Random says 52.5 lemons.))
Blaise always loved the theater, how it always seemed so magical. A portal to the past or an alternate world, all her childhood she would come to this opera house, the wonders it displayed made her wish to be a performer. Her mother was a horrible woman saying that her stammer was far too pronounced that even if she didn’t have a lisp that no one would understand her anyway.
Though her mother had been right, her love of the theater was still strong. She was thrilled when she was offered a job in the theater at the age of 16 even if it was just a glorified janitorial position. Those days now past Blaise has become, what some would call, the lead stage hand. She could find any misplaced prop and still have time to get you into your next costume with plenty of time before your next scene. We love plural first person personal pronouns.
Rejoice in the bosom of white text our child.

Re: Phantom of the Opera Werewolf V - The Horror Game thread
The opera rat catcher skulks through the old buildings sprawling basements, beady eyes shining in the darkness. He hears a scurrying rustle to his left and strikes, grabbing the surprised rat and snapping its neck in one smooth movement.
"Not fast enough, mon amie."
The rat catcher puts the body in the sack at his side and skulks deeper into the basements, looking for more of his favourite quarry. He hopes there are noGrues down there, as he hasn't bought the correct kind ofBait.Last edited by banjo1985; 2011-11-16 at 06:17 AM.
