Looks like Maria is still hanging around the front door for whatever reason. Or at least near enough that it's her that answers the door for Ilpholin. "Can I help you?" She asks, a tad distractedly. She's got things on her mind.

Aww... she's not there. I don't know what she looks like!
*has not really followed Riverside much in the past*

"Yeah. I heard Rot came here. Is that right?!"
Ilpholin seems mad.

Hey... when'd she start carrying a stake on her back next to her whip?

[Westside - Cierra's Loft]

Quickly pocketing her MagPhone, Grace turns her attention back to Cierra. "Well, if it's not too much trouble, coffee would be nice." Though she's striving to be friendly and polite, the situation feels awkward to her. She's not entirely sure why she's here, doesn't really know Cierra, and being in her apartment makes it all a little stranger.

"So, Cierra, what was it that you wanted to talk to me about?"

Eastside - Hospital Site

As by the social and dramatic rules of the nexus, Cierra will find the two as they are stepping inside the elevator which only seem to go to one other floor which is below them.

It appears new compared to the rest of the hospital with a green interior and a second door at the other side.

Better than some dress wearing, tinman, crime against nature. And let's not forget all that baby eating.

Samona ponders a moment. "Might be a good idea to have some regulation on who's going through. Showing some papers on the way through, nothing too complex. That way we can filter out a lot of trouble. As for the cops, I'll be able to keep them mostly away on this side. Otherwise, keep armed guards on either side and look out for anyone suspicious. This operation is never going to be completely clean, but just use some common sense and you'll do just fine."

Magtok nods, making a mental note to assign Michalson to cover some of that regulatey nonsense. He'll have to assign a MagBot escort of course, to keep the man from tearing the faces off of any undead that come through, but beyond that, things should be manageable.

"Yeah, I think I've got the right people lined up for that. The bots are too great at thinking for themselves, but they shouldn't need to."

He begins to lead the way towards the back of the Riverside MagMart. While a store like this would normally have something in the back for trucks to drop off their deliveries, telewarping has long since rendered that sort of thing obsolete for MagCorp. A massive telewarp gate built into a wall stands in the stock room, with box after box of Magproducts getting brought in by several sets of bulky, dull-witted Magbot trios.

"Anyways, how's this? It'll fit some vehicles, but if anyone's expecting to roll a hover-tank or a tractor trailer through, it's just not gonna work."

Oh gods Maggy is so awkward right now. He is definitely not dressed for a loud, dark, unruly club setting, he's completely unaware of what the person he's supposed to meet is going to look like, and he abhors the hell out of techno music. If there's a place to get a drink around here, that's the very first place Maggy is going to go, in the hopes that a little liquor will help him bide the time until someone notices how he sticks like a sore thumb out here and either strikes up a conversation or strikes him in the face.

Wham! She's a lowly NPC confined to the Tenebras faction sheet.

Maria raises an eyebrow. "If Rot came here, he'd be in prison where a wanted criminal belongs. I suggest you check there." She's rather curt. There have been enough people poking around for Rot.

[MagMart]

Samona nods. "Yes, that should be perfect. The most anyone should need is a moving truck at the very biggest. Subtlety is key in this business." The vampire looks around, nodding occasionally. Looks like there won't be trouble in this regard.

[Exbourne Manor]

"I swear when I find him I'll rip his head off and shove it through his heart and tears his claws off one at a time to..." Ilpholin grumbles to herself as she turns to head off. It's probably a bit quieter than that, but I suspect Maria's hearing can help her hear.

Ilpholin pauses though, halfway on the way to leaving, to turn back to Maria. "And... where would that be?"

Maria won't be fooled by pretending to hate Rot! Or at the very least she's just following orders deny all knowledge that Rot is at the manor. "It's in Northside." She gives an address.

[Exbourne Manor -> Prison]

Lots of people hate Rot.

"Thanks."
She grumbles all the way out and heads to the prison in Northside.

Teq turns slowly, watching either direction, holding his sword toward the new door. He waits for the elevator to stop, a tad impatient.

Behind the front desk is a broad shouldered man wearing a prison guard uniform. He has a beard! A manly beard. No, a dwarfly beard! Black and well maintained. Much effort is put into it, clearly. This is because the man is indeed a dwarf standing on a stool. Durned prison and it's durned tall desks!

[Prison]

Ah dwarves. Thought they owned the underground. Funny how most underground races think that. Tolerable at times.

Ilpholin saunters up to the desk.
"I'm here to see if a prisoner has been brought in. Vampire. Goes by the name of Rot."

"An what're you gonna pay for that infermation?" The dwarf says, giving her a toothy smile. A couple of them are capped in gold.

Ilpholin leans down on the desk, propping herself up on it with her arms, and getting closer to the dwarf and providing a view, while looking longingly at his beard. She licks her lips.
"Mmm... what do you think you can handle?"

The cyborg certainly catches peoples attention, there isn't a single dress robe as far as the eye can see inside the club.

"So you're Magtok huh?" The bartender asks, looking over him. "I expected you to be taller."

However before that conversation can go any further a blond woman in a black trench coat approaches Magtok. "You have been expected, follow me please." She states in a monotone voice.

"Ha! Yer nothing but skin and bones. 'Ow 'bout you go an put some meat on those bones, then we can talk." The dwarf laughs. "That or cash, up front."

[Reinholdt]

Ilpholin scowls. Dwarves really were such vile, disgusting creatures. Someone should wipe their plague off this earth already.

She takes a small bag of gold and dumps it in front of him.

[Gullara]

[Prison]

The dwarf chuckles as he looks at the gold. Apparently satisfied, he stows it away under the desk. "The vampire Rot, aye? Never 'eard of 'im"

[Lord Magtok]

MagMart

Magtok grins. "Pretty sure that's the first time anyone's ever called me subtle before."

As if right on cue, a box loaded with Maggy bobbleheads nearly overflowing their container is hauled in, the movement causing each and every Maggy doll to shake about and wobble like crazy.

"So is there anything else we need figured out now, on day one?"

"Sure."

Aww, leaving already? Magtok was just about to retort with something absolutely devastating! It wouldn't completely destroyed the man or woman! That smelly bartender would've been crying his or her eyes out like a wee little baby for months! Darn it, monotone lady, you've ruined everything!

Before they go however she starts check his robe for any possible weapons he might have hide within it. Once the pile of weapons Magtok likely have with him have been left at the bar the woman leads him away, but not before the barkeeper can add. "Huh, looks like someone is making up for something."

He will then be lead into elevator which starts going up as soon as they both are inside.

His companion hardly gives him a glance and just stares stoically at the doors which soon enough opens up, revealing a small hall with a hat hanger, a table with a vase of flowers, a bench and some paintings handing on the checked walls.

This is of course just a waiting room with the music from the club only faintly heard from below.

The woman opens up a door leading into an office where Lavthos awaits.

Lavthos head is oval rather then round with small pair of holes where his ears and nose should have been. His mouth lacks lips and just seems to be a thin black line against his grey skin. More disturbingly however might be the fact there is only skin where his eye sockets should have been.

He does have something in common with Magtok however, he also wears a dress robe.

"Greetings Lord Magtok, or is that just Magtok now?" The vampire asks as he pours himself a cup of coffee from a machine placed exactly behind his office.

[Prison]

Ilpholin narrows her eyes and hisses out.
"I'm not in the mood for a runaround dwarf."
She just paid gold and got turned down for sex. She's in a bad mood.

[Gullara]

[Prison]

"No one in this prison named Rot, fairy. Now get outta 'ere before I 'ave to throw you out." The dwarf says, still smiling.

[Reinholdt]

[Prison]

Ilpholin would narrow her eyes, except they're already narrowed. I suppose they narrow further. And more and they'd just be shut. Yeesh.

"I. Am a DROW."
Glare glare.

[Gullara]

[Prison]

"Course you are. 'Ow could I mistake that pale skin fer the skin of someone who's not a drow at all?" The dwarf says, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

[Reinholdt]

[Prison]

Eye narr- dang.
Hmmm... can you get arrested if you're already in prison?

Ilpholin isn't sure she's ready to find out. Again.

She hmphs and turns to head out. She already suspected that Rot wasn't here anyways and the girl at the manor was lying. This didn't confirm it, per say, but it definitely didn't decrease the likelihood either.

Grrr... plan C wasn't going to be very good either. She just hopes the vampires in this town lived up to their rumors. Now to just go and stake out the manor and trail down a lone vampire to seduce.

Ilpholin heads back towards Westside.

"It's Magtok, yes."

Okay, so it looks like the name thing is catching on a bit more. That's good news, right?

"I take it you have a reason for inviting me all the way out here."

[Westside - Outside Exbourne Manor]

The dwarf's laughter follows her out.

Back in Westside, Ilpholin won't have to wait long at all to find what she's looking for. A pale skinned young man makes his way out of the manor and starts walking down the street. He sticks his hands in the pocket of his jacket and whistles quietly as he walks.

Samona chuckles and shakes her head. "Nothing at the moment. Do you have a number I can get a hold of you at? I'll let you know when people are going to start showing up."

[Reinholdt]

[Westside - Outside Exbourne Manor]

Ilpholin motions for Mister Squiggles to initiate plan 26.

For now, the two move on ahead of him, until they're a fair bit away from the manor. They find an appropriately abandoned alley with few people around and Ilpholin takes position in it, while Mister Squiggles takes lookout from a rooftop and waits for the young man to head their way. Interestingly enough, he also took Ilpholin's equipment and stashed it on that rooftop.

Valente continues on, not deviating from his course. He won't take any note of Ilpholin in the alley unless she does something to grab his attention. If it was night he might be more cautious, but it's day (though you'd never be able to tell). There are other people on the street and everything.

Once Valente gets close, Mister Squiggles will climb down and get into position. And right as he's passing the alley, Ilpholin will scream.

"Eee! Help! Help me someone please!" Just loud enough. Don't want too much attention after all.

Mister Squiggles is standing over an Ilpholin backed against the wall and on the ground, chittering. A bit of her clothes have been ripped from Squiggle's leg claws and there's just a bit of blood. Not much. They were, after all, glancing blows. But there's a rip on her arm and leg. Kindly showing off skin.

Valente spins around at the screaming, spotting Ilpholin right away. Giant spider?! No time to waste. He rushes into the alley, shouting. "Hey! Leave her alone!" He's gonna run right at Mister Squiggles and try to scare him off.
