Misaki wants to see, but she doesn't want Briknia to be scared. "Okay!" She dashes off to the Mushroom Cellar.

Misaki will find Caretaker hovering in front of the door leading to the cellar. The drone might be more menacing if it wasn't covered in Brinika's erratic paintings.
Tentative Greeting: Hello, Misaki.
Query: What is the situation with the alleged "Earth Vampire"?

"Hi, Caretaker. I'm not sure, but I think it's gone. It might not have been here at all." Misaki shrugs. "Is Brinika in there?"

[Morty]

[Mushroom Cellar]

Statement: Yes, she is here.
Permission: You may go in and see her.
The drone hovers to the side to let the catgirl pass.

Andy is looking around seeing there is nothing that suits as bandage. He beganns to tear his own clothes.

"We should first stop the bleeding a bit. Transportation may cause coleteral damage, if we don't do first aid."

He waits for her answers, but still prepares some bandages.

Misaki heads down into the cellar. "Brinika! It's safe to come out!"

[Morty]

The cellar is surprisingly cozy, with walls covered in wallpaper, floors covered in carpets and furniture in doilies. It's pretty dark in there though, with few lamps and windows.
Brinika pokes her head through one of the doors.
Misaki? You weren't eaten by the vampire? Is it gone?

[Lakeshore]

So long as I don't bleed to death... Sophie is getting weaker, but she takes off her blood-soaked jacket, revealing a white shirt with a hole in it, which in turn reveals an ugly wound.

Andy will bandage the wound as far as possible with the less resources.

"Can you stand up?"

Main Cabin

About this time, Brand Applehill, huffing and puffing and running at top speed, makes his way to the Main Cabin. Finding the door locked, he bangs on the door. "Pansy! Tito! Lily! Are you there?! Someone open up!"

Pansy races to unlock the door and flings her arms around Brand. "What happened? Where's Tito?"

Slavers happened. But he can't say that. He can't say that word. Not while his son is missing. "He's not here?"

"No. And Waterstrider is badly hurt."

Badly hurt trying to protect Tito. Brand was sure of it. There must have been more than one team, working together. His son could already be far from here, terrified and alone as his worst nightmare comes true. "Stay here. Lock up. I'll find him."

Meanwhile, Lily clings tightly to her wounded protector, frightened and silently crying.

((There's time for any of the other occupants of the Main Cabin to interject before he's off again.))

"Brand, wait!" Renetta calls before he can leave. "When you go by the infirmary, please send someone here to help Waterstrider."

[Morty]

[Lakeshore]

Struggling, Sophie gets to her feet. I think so. Let's... she winces. Let's get me to the Infirmary.

Andy offers his left side to help her and if she refuse he will go on her side to help if needed. If nothing other happens, I assume they arrive at the Infirmary?

Main Cabin

Waterstrider curls up around the halflings clinging to him, but keeps his head raised, watching Renetta. If she moves towards the door, he'll growl again to try and ward her away.

"No, I wasn't. I was teleported away for jury duty. And I think the vampire is gone, if it was ever here at all."

[Morty]

[Lakeshore => Infirmary]

Brinika steps out of the room. She's clutching a molerat plushie. It is? That's... good, I guess. What's jury duty?

"It's where you have to go hear a court case and decide if someone did something bad or not." Misaki glances curiously at the molerat plushie. "What's that?"

[Reinholdt]

[Infirmary]

Irene is back here, waiting on Quinn. Though she looks up when more injured arrives. Looks like it's time to call for more doctors.

Course, she has no idea who's who among the people showing up so doesn't say anything.

Tito is still hiding, crying quietly.

[Morty]

This? Brinika raises the plushie. It looks like a plump, pink rodent somewhat resembling a pig, with a large snout and tiny eyes. Of course, it's a toy so it likely doesn't reflect reality. It's my molerat plushie. One of my friends down in the colony has a real one.

That's terrifying.

Infirmary

Tito is still hiding, crying quietly.

Irene totally sees him, because she has HEAT vision. And floats over a bit.
"Hey. It's alright. The monster ran away." One of them. The recent explosion probably didn't make it all that believable. And the monster might have doubled back.

"Did Waterstrider die?" Tito asks, sniffling. He saw a lot of blood.

Misaki frowns. "A molerat? Why would you want a plushie of one of those!?"

[Reinholdt]

Irene supposes she could just up and say no, but it might be a lie and one of the worst ones you could give.
"I don't know." Irene replies truthfully.

[Morty]

Yeah, the plushie looks pretty much like that, I guess. The molerats Brinika knows look pretty much like those in Fallout or Gothic.

[Mushroom Cellar]

Brinika looks surprised. Um, because they're nice? Lots of goblins have actual molerats as pets.

Misaki makes a face. "Nice? I think they look ugly! Cats are better!" No bias there, Misaki, none at all.

[Morty]

Brinika pouts and her ears fall back. Molerats aren't ugly! My friend Frika has one and he's cute. Cats are cute too, though, she adds. Mind you, Brinika is a somewhat unusal goblin in her appreciation for cats.

Caroline frowns, knowing what Quinn says is true. No. And I wouldn't want to hurt anyone else, either. her frown turns upside down, at the thought of the meditation. When can we start?

Quinn smiles at Caroline. "Well, if you'd like, I can show you how to start right now," she suggests.

Jamie looks a little dubious, but nods...

Quinn undeadtimes, smacks her player, starts rushing after Irene, and the moment she steps outside the Infirmary door, gets mauled by the vengeful ghost of continuity!

But... Irene's over here.

"Well... last I saw of it, it was running away. See, the monster was totally scared you'd come out and chase it down."

Really Irene? I don't think the kid's that young. And these monsters are real!
