Nadas is here. He actually heard about this strange bookstore located in a cave in a mall and wished to check it out. But mostly check out the books. He loves his books. He's even reading as he's walking, only partially paying attention to where he's going.

He doesn't notice as a hook imbeds itself in his heavy robes.

[Main Area/ TTT]

"Oh, yay! I got one!" Tarin hauls back on the pole, which leads to a yank on the hook, which will attempt to bodily haul Nadas through the air and into a chair next to Tarin.

[Tarin's Tea and Tarot]

"GAAAAHHH."

Nadas howls in terror and startlement and he's lifted and pulled through the air and into a seat.

When he lands, he's at a total loss of words. A quite unusual situation for him given his usual predisposition towards verbosity.

"Congratulations, sir! You've just won a free tarot reading and/or tea party! Yay!" Tarin throws some confetti in the air, most of it landing on Nadas.

Blink blink. Blink blink.
Nadas wipes a confetti piece away from his eye.
"Ummm... yay?" He seems uncertain and not enthusiastic! How could someone not be enthusiastic about free stuff? D=

"No no, dear, you're not getting enough air behind it. Breathe out from the diaphragm. Like this. YAY!" Tarin smiles, looking expectantly at him.

Nadas stares at Tarin incredulously. But takes a semi-deep breath anyways and replies with a "Yay." A bit louder, but still lacking.

Main Area

Waldorf shows up just as Nadas is hooked, and slumps sadly as he sees the hook drag him away. A businesscard is held out to the empty space where he had just been. He looks accusingly at his watch's mechanism, stupid thing must be running slow.

Well that won't stop old Wally, he's following this fishy to the end of the line. He begins stumbling toward the tea shop, hands shaking in futile rage. Knowing how slow he is without the help of his watch, he'll probably show up just in time to miss his latest find.

Tarin shakes her head and pours some liquid form her tea pot into a cup, then offers it to Nadas, practically pressing it under his nose. "Here, try this, dear. It'll clean out your sinuses and throat real quick! Should help clear that up."

Nadas warily reaches to take the cup with his hands, and hold it in place, but not drink it yet.

"To be frank, I mostly prefer prune juice over the unnecessarily caffeinated beverage known as tea."
Really? Not drinking it because of caffeine? That's pretty prudish.

Tarin pouts, giving him the puppy dog eyes. "Please? It'll help, I promise!"

Nadas sighs. "Very well..." He then proceeds to take the slightest sip. Siiiiip.
"Mmmm... that was... delicious." Nadas says, regardless of fact.

Nadas might find that his voice is suddenly magnified to shouting levels, even if he tries to just whisper. Maybe. It's a possibility!

Tarin beams happily. "Glad you like it, dear! So, what will it be? Tea or Tarot?"

"I don't think I need to drink any... more... so... Tarot."


His lowest voice is a size five. YEESH. He keeps pausing during his talking trying to get his voice under control and at reasonable volumes.
He'd be far too scared to drink any more of Tarin's tea. Weird stuff.

"Okay!" Tarin plays out a fold of three cards. "Hm. The Devil, the two of clubs, and the 10 of swords. I think this means the devil is going to hit you over the head with two clubs and then stab you with ten swords. Usually, the cards aren't so literal, but today they're very frank. So, I'd avoid demons, if I were you."

Nadas stares at the cards a bit. This entire experience makes him wonder if he wasn't already clubbed and drugged or something. It's very surreal.
"But I'm-"
Oh. Right. That voice thing. Nadas shuts his mouth and just nods.

Tarin smiles. "Great! Well, thank you for coming to Tarin's Tea and Tarot! Come again soon!" And then Nadas might find himself violently ejected back to whence he came, with very little warning, as the chair suddenly jumps to life and tries to throw him.

[Main Area]

"AHHHH!!"
Nadas is rather unceremoniously thrown out.
What... what the hell just happened?
"I'm not going to recommend you to my friends!" Nadas whispers, shaking his fist at the store.

I wouldn't worry about it. Nadas doesn't have too many friends anyways, beyond his books.

All the same, he nervously looks around for any devils with club like objects.

Waldorf watches the apparently screaming man fly out of the shop. He blinks a few times, and slooooowly raises his arm towards the place Nadas just flew through. Then he realizes his mistake, and frowns at another lost opportunity.

Oh well, he's already here, might as well go in.

Tarin may find Waldorf standing next to her chair, fiddling with the watch on his wrist frustratedly.

And down the hall comes Decker the younger, whistling, carrying a massive club.

Oh wait, it's not a club, it's a Big Freaking Gun.

Carry on.

[Main Area]

Suddenly someone tries to tap Nadas on the shoulder. "Looking for weapons?" Turning around will reveal a rather slender, seven foot tall man. He's wearing a trench coat with the collar pulled up and a fedora on his head. His face is red and two horns poke out from just below his hair line.

He suddenly throws open his coat revealing that he has two club and ten different swords hanging in side of it. "Big selection in swords today."

Spotting the person, Tarin tries to cast her fishing rod right at him, seeking to hook his clothes.

She may find that he's somewhere else at the moment, say sitting across from her or off reading a book in the corner.

Oh, no wait, he's not. Stupid faulty watch. Waldorf is snagged! And presumably dragged somewhere.

Well will you look at THAT succession of posts. Whew.

Anyways, Nadas starts backing away from Decker the younger, only to bump into the Weapons Flasher and whirl around. He pales considerably. He really doesn't want to get clubbed in the head and then stabbed with those swords.

So he lets loose another scream and starts running.

Tarin deposits him into the chair next to her. "Hello, sir! Tea or Tarot?"

Waldorf looks confused for a moment, then reaches into his pocket and withdraws several odd shaped bones from his pocket. They are each about as long as a human finger, and don't look to be from any normal beast or man. Other than that they have differing numbers of sides filed into them, one is seven sided, another nine, and the last is thirteen. Each side has a number carved into it. He places them on the counter gently, making sure they don't roll.

"Cann yoou rread th'e bo'nnes?" this is Waldorf's favorite way to divine things, and he's anxious to meet another practitioner.

Restaurante Enchante

"Mm. I don't think I'd mind." Cornelia licks her lips at the pie, already digging in. "Good choice, love." The blacksmith decides to change the subject. "So, I was thinkin' we might go walkin' tonight. See some sights. Mebbie a show." She obviously wants to know if he has any ideas.

"Thank you. Pirozhki has always been a favorite of mine." Boris smiles upon hearing Cornelia's plans for the night. "I've been wanting to see this city for a while," he says. "Perhaps we can head over to the docks?"

[Aurora Fountain]

Grace is a bit late! But not by much. Dressed in her full suit, and looking much better than she had a couple of days ago, she arrives at the fountain to meet Takara, smiling as she comes.

Tarin shakes her head. "Nope. Just cards!"
