Re: The Index of the Giant's Comments
And even more on alignment.
(There's another earlier post in the same discussion, but I don't think that it should be included, not enough information.)

Re: The Index of the Giant's Comments
I'm not necessarily advocating for this comment to be included in the index. Its relation to the comic is tenuous, and nothing in it was particularly surprising (perhaps only because I've encountered the same frustrations myself, though).
But for the sake of completeness: International shipping has become really expensive.

A good statement on Shojo and Tarquin's alignments and methodologies.

Re: The Index of the Giant's Comments
So we have a bunch of information on Shojo and him being Chaotic Good, plus how order isn't always good and chaos isn't always bad.
And a reiteration of Shojo's alignment, and how his being chaotic good influenced his actions rather than his action influencing him to be chaotic good.

Re: The Index of the Giant's Comments
More stuff from the "Vigilantism and the Lawful Alignment in OotS"-Thread
The comic is not a sourcebook (but I'm not sure we should include that)
Chaotic government != Evil (and Shojo's government was clearly Good)
The nobles attacked Hinjo because they didn't take Xykon serious (and Hinjo would have thwarted their schemes in the long run)
The alignment system can be used for non-black-and-white stuff (and complex characters aren't there to be simplistically pegged)
Not all details/answers will be provided, especially if they are not relevant to what the story is aboutLast edited by ChristianSt; 2013-06-07 at 05:27 AM. Reason: fixed typo and small addition

Re: The Index of the Giant's Comments
I'm still here, but obviously waaaay behind... I was without internet this past week so didn't get a chance to do anything. Massive update incoming whenever I sort though all this stuff.

Re: The Index of the Giant's Comments
Art should challenge preconceptions, and that includes OotS.
I'm not sure if all the quotes from that thread should be included, to be honest. They're mostly on the same subject. My FFRP characters. Avatar by Ashen Lilies. Sigatars by Ashen Lilies, Gullara and Purple Eagle.

And, even after he said he was done there, there was more. (Though not really on the same subject. But still relevant.)

Re: The Index of the Giant's Comments
Alright, this is all the stuff I've got to sort through (er... if you notice something missing tell me). This is the farthest I've been behind on the Index... ever. Some of these quotes I haven't even read yet.
Spoiler
Until I get this sorted out, does everyone mind keeping discussion to a minimum and only posting new quote suggestions? That way it is less likely I miss something else that gets added. If I'm unsure about including a certain quote I'll ask for a vote...
I really do appreciate the discussions of each quote, its just I've got some catching up to do... my internet connectivity has been bonkers lately but it is holding up right now so hopefully it won't go down again.Last edited by ThePhantasm; 2013-06-12 at 10:03 PM.

As discussed earlier, I think this s worth including. Not the part where he says he might do a less family friendly strip after OOTS. The part where he talks about the use of PG-13 language in comics. That is certainly worth linking..
